That dude is a serious PG. Fast, strong, agile, makes great decision with ball. An incredible playmaker

And shoot the ball from anywhere on the court with mad accuracy.

That boy did it again; he is showing the league that he is for real

I want to see him in a knicks jersey. how awesome would it be if we could grab him once he becomes a FA after 2015/16 season.
Knicks1969 @ 12/24/2014 6:22 PM
He is too smart to come to NY

Great example of how you get lucky.

This kid was projected to be a 2nd round pick and he surged into the first round after some amazing workouts! Nets went starphuching (a move usually reserved for us!)

Good trade by Portland, even better scouting! This is why you get picks. You can't get lucky unless your in a position to!

With picks

Sometimes you will miss by a mile
Sometimes you will hit it big

The more picks you have, the more chances you will have for any outcome

Unfortunately Dolan just doesn't understand the logic or is unwilling to follow through it

So that is why all these teams continue to stockpile draft picks, as some will be used for development, some will be used in trades, and some will be complete misses
That is what Houston did and teams like Boston/Philly/Orlando/Twolves etc continue to do add/rotate assets, when you have the right combination of talents that work together cohesively and/or a deal presents itself

Look at Shabazz Muhmmadd and Gorgui Dieng, 2 solid players that took 1 full year to develop so far, but not even ALL STARS or close to it, both were traded for the 10th that became Trey Burke
when Rubio is back they will be nasty with Wiggons and Thad Young running together, with Lavine making his splash in year 2 maybe 3

Stockpiling Assets and just having a poor team could change over one season
It can change the entire culture, identity, philosophy of a team, could be a short term contender or even a Dynasty
Especially for a team like NYK's which doesn't mind paying a premium in order to contend for rings
If we ever had a team like OKC with Harden, both Ibaka and Harden would have got paid, and we were at one time paying even more than that for over a decade with LOSING teams

However, NYK's have been trading away their chances for GARBAGE, and willing to overpay for any possible talent
In a market of 30 teams, it greatly improves those teams
