Love the way pitino teaches his kids the fundementals of the game. They all talk, help and point on d. And they all ball fake passes and shots. Best coach in the biz.
i coach 4th grade and i agree college bball is the best to teach from

Girls or boys? Do coach a school or a league?
U essentially have 5-6 huge players in a small space. It's so congested that everyone is having troubles

It was horrendous. I see flopping and arguing with officials made its way to the college game

Thats whats up. Im sure you already knoe this but the best thing to do with kids is teach them man to man principles on d. Im teaching my girls man to man but we are not deep enough, experienced enough, or fast enough to pull it off in games just yet. I also have dozens oc coaching clinic dvds with tons of fundemental practice drills etc. If you need recomendations let me know.

Towns is a athletic/skilled monster

Yup, WCS initiated that, but Towns my good ness...coast to coast like a 7 foot guard.

yep thats what I saw from him at St. Joe's last year. Highly skilled big, with guard skills and fills up the stat sheet
Louisville having a tough time scoring in the paint. Best way to attack a big yeam like this is to spread the offense, open up the paint, bring the bigs out to the perimeter and utilize a dribble drive offense. But drbble not looking for a lay up but for pull up 12 footers. Weak side screens and back door cuts on the overplays.
and Towns consistently grabs offensive & defensive rebounds with 5 guys around him. Rebounds with both hands and uses his strong frame to box out
Gotta take advantage of the few opportunities that you are given against kentucky. Louisville not hitting the few open jumpers they have gotten. Not converting on the turnovers.

He's better than Okafor imho. He just seems like a guy that will impact the game like 5 different ways. He seems like a star to me.

Yea I like Stein but don't think his ceiling is as high. He could work for us in a Tyson role though if Towns is off the board.
I would not have a problem taking Ok4 #1 if we can find an athletic 7ft Center to put next to him
Not interested in mudiay, harrel or russell. We need a cornerstone frontcourt player. We can always use Free Agency to sign guards. Cheaper than signing over the hill bigs
Okafor is a no Brainer but towns is good too
