Knicks · I NO LONGER WANT 2 C AMARE, JR & Bargnani (page 2)

I honestly though AB was going to be able to contribute this season

I thought he would be a better FIT running the Triangle than STAT
Running the OFFENSE and INITIATING it through him was likely the plan

Of course it was just to get a sense of how to execute the system but looks like he had some major surgery that MSG had been hiding from us

OasisBU @ 12/29/2014 7:48 AM
I am reading a lot of complaining about our coaching and roster and while some of it may be fair we should all remember that winning more games at this point hurts more than it helps.

We need the top pick in the draft or the #2. The only way to fix this is to draft a stud and sign some solid free agents. Trades will kill us - we can no longer afford to trade picks and remember we don't have one next year. If you stop taking what's on the court so seriously and recognize that we are tanking you will feel better.

But Bargs still sucks.

Looks like their health issues are serious enough to keep them out of Tanking squad.
This improves our chances to win the ping-pong war.
They are just cap space. Why they should play?

All you Bargs fans, is your body ready

Your boy is back

I hope Bargnani gets release after tonight.

We gain nothing by releasing him right now

He is actually our best player to initiate our OFFENSE through in the Triangle
The have the shooters to space him out to go to work 1v1

Let's get a sense on which players could possibly work in this system or not
Now if he is unable to get in shape and we are unable to move him, then after the trade deadline, let it be, I understand....
But till then, let us see if we can initaite the Triangle with a player that

1) has a midnrange shot
2) can play the high/mid post, he can also spread the floor as a shooter and drive past his man if a BIG is defending him
3) I don't think he is much of a deep post position player however, he does have the ability to at least turn around and hit a turn around basket

CA, Calderon, Tim Hardaway JR, Pablo, are all capable of hitting wide open 3pter's, JR Smith can do so when he is healthy especially if he he only shoots when he is able to get squared rather than do the dribble, dribble, off balance shot...., Jason Smith can hid the mid range as well

Cole Aldrich also could be a decent post option though his game isn't the prettiest

the only attribute that matters is (2). you don't see that then he's useless.

I can't believe that some of you are still hopefully that Bargnani and Shump will be productive for the Knicks. Folks, wake up from the dream.

Knicks1969 @ 12/31/2014 8:23 PM
This group of players and coaches are horrible. I need a discount.
mreinman @ 12/31/2014 8:43 PM
so phil jackson told Bargs to step right inside the 3 point shot and shoot because he hits more from there.

he could not have said that ... that is retarded

You want another 5 cents off your lollipop? It only costs 10 cents.
