Melo's knee injury is such a mystery. Wanting him in the all star game makes sense. But to just keep throwing him out there seems like the Knicks are tempting fate. That hasn't worked out well in the past.

It's not like I'm suggesting we'll sign all these guys. I really think you're overdoing the criticism here. There can be any one of various combinations of players who Phil eventually signs here. No one is making predictions or guaranteed locks on Free Agency!
