Every young gunner wants to be a star. Cannot prevent this.
But at some point they realized what they really are.
Then they became NBA players.

+1 - I find the fact that he didn't improve on any aspect of his game in the off-season unbelievable. I'll blame part of it on the environment, but a lot of it lies with the individual. It doesn't seem like he is willing to put in the required effort to improve, which is really disappointing.

That is true. I dont even fcreaking know why he is allowed to take so many shots from deep. A good coach would remind him to drive the basket; specifically, when his shots are not falling. 5 shots from deep should be his limit, except if he is shooting a good percentage

He is a second year player who is playing for a second coaching staff man. Typically, they pick it up in their third year. The onus is on him to put in the work by researching what he does well and not so well, but I expect him to get better in his third year. He is now making a concerted effort to attack the basket; and he is now rebounding a little and passing the ball to the open man. He just needs to restrain himself from shooting the 3 ball so much.

You're right about this. Fish is the least of the problems at this point. This team would still suck with an experienced coach. It is just better then that we have an inexperienced coach this season and shoot for a high pick. A better coach right now would not help the big picture this season.
It will matter after this season though, so Fish will have to learn to coach. If he can't hack it next season, he probably won't make it to the end of two seasons.
we would be much better with an experience coach, these players look retarded out there, and I have seen all them play much better prior to being a knick, so how is that not the coach and the system..next year wont be no different other than the players..
will take 5 months to figure out a rotation( 9 new 1 contract yr players cause were saving cap space again, for 2016) and roles..stop making excuses for the coach

He's not making excuses for Fisher. Reality is the roster is terrible. The best coach couldn't overcome the fact that we have 1 legitimate starting player on the roster.
