I totally agree with you on Shump and JR. Let's see what we get in return to find out if this is a good or bad trade.

It really is. That's a home run. I hated Shump. He will be like the 9th guy on the Spurs, have two good weeks and guns will scream from the mountain tops we traded the best two player since Ewing. See ya JR. Getting the season woody got from him 2 years ago was his biggest accomplishment

Well The knicks really need to think about using the stretch prevision on Calderon if his contract is eligible. I believe it would get the knicks to $30m or so in cap space.

We no longer are over the tax apron with these scenarios

So we would be eligigble to do sign and trades and trades that could recieve 150% back/forth
In other words, we might be dealing CA where we could take back less salary now, blow the team up for youth and picks, concentrate on development and FA's

Looks like we WILL NOT be getting Reggie Jackson

KNicks sending out almost 9 mil in salary. Not sure what the Cavs can send back that can just be waived for that amount.

Could it be another deal with OKC coming soon for Jackson. I only ask because if they included any other players they would not have enough players to legally play tonight's game.

I don't see how this works for OKC cap wise. Taking back Waiters but only trading Lance. They must have had a trade exception.
