Still early in terms of developing the youngsters. If you continue to see a differentiation between certain groupings of players you will see permanent changes as the season continues.Don't think that the relative performances of the starters and the kids was not noticed by Fisher and Phil.
Fisher is still trying out different combinations, and now, with Early back and Galloway in the mix, his job is that more difficult.
? He put the exact same starting lineup back into the game.
Knicks1969 wrote:I want to see the Nasty, when is he going to get the call????
Probably not until next year. He is the property of the knicks but doesn't take up a roster spot or a salary slot. I don't think he comes up unless there was a behind the scenes agreement when he signed with Westchester to be brought up later in the season.

Dude, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the mixture of Calderon/J Smith/Hardaway is not working. Slow, terrible defenders, horrible rebounders, etc
Knicks need to stop playing Calderon before he gets hurt. We need to trade him
Knicks should waive Bargs and pick up Wolters.

Send Jason Smith out of the door too with him

Pretty much... but he did bring Galloway in at the end of the half with the starters.
I did not necessarily mean tonight's game- meant in general
You can't just make wholesale permanent changes until it has been completely established that this or that mix of players is superior, especially if it is a rookie coach.
If the kind of things were are seeing tonight are seen over and over again, the changes will be made.

Hardaway never sees a 3 that he does not like. He is not very smart.

I can see this- but you are also talking about a coach's control of the team- and you don't completely throw out a rotation system unless there is a complete lack of effort by the starters.
You see the substitutions he is making now after the Houston run- only one starter in now.
Change is coming.
Got to be patient.
At this rate Hardaways value is plumeting
