Knicks · Looks like Houston is angling for a PG (page 1)

Too bad Calderon looked like the 1-26 PG he is last night right in front of them.

Do you think Morey just picks up Wolters if he clears waivers? Is he looking for a vet? On a side note hearing that Hinkie in Philly is developing the same rep as Morey, a guy no one wants to deal with if they don't have to.

Honest - I don't know what you and everyone else has against Calderon.

As far as a trade- I think his contract works more against him than his performance so far this year. He has a body of work that teams can look at. I think most reasonable, objective observers can look past this year and take it with a grain of salt. I would just point them to Tyson and his year so far this year, and ask for an additional 2nd rounder while I had the GM on the phone!

I suspect they will target Dragic

I think so too. Which would open the door for Beverley slightly. I actually think Pablo would be perfect for Houston. He is a great catch and shoot player and would be surrounded by so many shooters off the pick n roll. They could use his leadership too.

Jason Terry looks like he still can play, also Canaan is ready to play right now. Why are they rumored to be looking for a point guard?

Beverly could be a nice low cost FA target if that's the case. Not great Pg but excellent defender and plays with an edge. Def upside there to his game.

I'm rooting for a Beverley / Wes Matthews backcourt. A menace on D with Matthews' shooting would be killer after so many seasons with our own special brand of 2 way pkayers. Aka bad at bother offense and defense.

Me too- we don't need to spend too much on PG, as the triangle doesn't seem to need them to do too much. Beverly is a good defensive player, and can shoot the three. And is a complete arsehole that annoys the other team (ala Rodman). Pair him with Wes, and thats a nice, reliable backcourt for a change.

That would be awesome.
