They are willing to pay with future draft picks. So they aren't trying to lose Marc Gasol. If they get Jeff Green they will be a very strong basketball team.

So i think we can put an end to the Gasol talk

I think they are rumored to be trying to get Deng as well. I think putting aside the Gasol talk is a good thing. I think Phil tries to get a couple of 2nd tier type guys.

Ainge is cleaning up. He just sent Brendan Wright to Phx for a 1st and now looks to be getting a 1st for Green too. Wow.

Yeah, Guns, but they replace Green with Jae Crowder.
Their pipeline is strong, they've got picks up the wazoo,
a nice young core already, and they're years ahead of us on the rebuild.
The Celtics are one smart and PATIENT organization
and we should take a page out of their rebuild strategy.

Boston will be a HUGE player in this year's free agent market.
Ask yourself, come July....if you were a player choosing between the Knicks and the Celtics,
who would you choose? Also, they're much too smart to take Carmelo off our hands. If you think otherwise,

Austin Rivers is going to the Celtics as part of this deal. Tayshaun Prince is still going to the Celtics.

they will probably a third team with an expiring contract to go back to the Cs. Rivers has been awful and lucky Doc is his dad. THSr needs a head coaching job asap.
