It's so GM like to state he made mistakes with trades, and bringing a lame player like Jason, but when is going to admit the coaching staff is trash
Until you actually have some talent that fits the system they won't throw the coaching staff under the bus. Phil knows that it's easy to just kick a coach to the curb but you have to give them something to work with too. He's going to be patient with them. He's won titles with these men, if he's going to trust anyone it's going to be his own men.

Hopefully Fisher is learning from his mistakes. Not a good roster but Fish hasn't looked good either.

Negative...rookie or not, you have to be able to see some traits within THST person to tell that he is going to be ok. As a spectator, I see none of that

My concern is that Phil is making his stint in New York about the triangle...So we are shooting at guys like Fisher, Tyron Lue, Luke Walton and Steve Kerr..Phil has made this about his legacy...I have always thought Phil's success was about Phil the coach and not the triangle...U can run any system with great players and a great coach and have success...I don't believe you can win and be successful with bad coach not matter the system...
Case and point..Scott Brooks is a bad coach..He is completely lost in the playoffs...They don't run plays or have a set offense...OKC would have been to the finals already with Phil Jackson or Larry Brown...

What's crazy is the Triangle isn't his system
It's Tex Winters, a great coach knows all systems
And can make installments on any of them
Depending on the makeup of the roster
He said the roster was clumsy 3-4yrs ago
Nothing has changed therefore no way they were capable of running this system

OKC did make the finals several years ago...The west is loaded and I can't fault Brooks for losing to the Spurs. Ibaka has improved his game every year in the league, to the point that he is now a two way player. Does Brook get any credit for his development? Also, The year after they went to the finals, they lost Harden and are still searching for a replacement, how is that Brooks fault?
Also, in order to field a good team, you need role players like Kerr, Armstrong, Fox, etc...But you can rest assured that Phil knows those guys look much better next to Kobe, Jordan, Shaq and Pippen. I'm sure Phil knows this...

I did forget they went to the Finals and lost to Miami...Maybe that's why Brooks is still around...But that said, they have the best talent of any team in the West... They have two top ten players... They got knock out in the second round in 2013 against Memphis which should not have happen...They also lost to SA last year and they are more talented..What yuou see is a lot of one on one play from Westbrook and Durant in crunch time...You get away with that in the regular season but not the playoffs...

I don't think he really screwed up. He got rid of Felton. Who knows what Tysons value was. He got Cleanthony and Thannes who I think will both be good players.
Until Phil gets Thru this summer we can't really fully judge him on his handling of the Knicks. Regardless of this season he was facing a massive set of roster decisions. He simplified things by getting rid if JR and Shump! He still has trade exceptions and I think he can get something done before the Deadline. We'll see.

Phil took full responsibility for this season. He's not arguing anything. What more can you ask? After this season he will officially be painting his own picture as to what the Knicks franchise becomes. I for one am excited for the future. I can't sit here and bitch about anything. We got young guys that need the reps. We need to evaluate talent and start thinking about the draft and free agency.
Phil has been talking logically since he's gotten here. Every time he's spoken he's been real. He's not feeding us bullshit or talking like we're all stupid. We are in good hands. I have confidence that were going to make great moves going forward. We are guaranteed to get at the very least a high pick and at least one or two decent free agents next year. 2016 we're in position to do the same as far as spending money. Enjoy what's going on for a change. There is nothing to complain about at all.

I agree. It's not easy to build a team capable of contending for a title. We've tried to do it one way for years doing it on the fly and never really establishing a core based on a solid philosophy and foundation. Now we have a chance to execute Phil's vision for the team. I'm very curious to see the direction he goes from here. It's all on Phil with no Dolan input and we haven't had that around here in a long time.
It's interesting that he gave a clue into his thinking about how he'll approach Free Agency and I think most of us agree with his thinking. When has that ever happened before?

Jackson said on Saturday that he really decided to dump J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert after speaking with an old teammate, Walt Frazier. That was another indication that Jackson is starting to listen to other voices, doesn’t have all the answers.
