You really have to do your homework after pick 4. It's a crap shoot. Play it safe with Kaminsky? Last time we played it safe we drafted Frye in the same spot. Kaminsky is better though.
Or do you go higher upside with Portis?

if we don't win any stupid games then we should not need to worry about falling out of the top 4.

I'd still draft Stanley Johnson is Towns and Russel are gone.
FistOfOakley@ 3/13/2015 2:47 PM
i am just not a big fan of kaminsky.... there are players who are producing as well as he is who are younger... and he has the same problem as okafor with defending...

Do you have to throw salt in my wounds. Frazier is a great shooter unfortunately he has a place kicker's mind set. He is also playing through pain and hasn't been the same since he got injured the 1st UK game when he was on fire. Finney-Smith shot over 40% from 3 but this game he sucked on little Horford(Al's lil bro) played big. Kasey Hill makes Shved look like Korver.
This was a bad year but next year should be better. Donavan is a great coach and put together a great play against UK he just didn't have the players this year.
Towns played great again. I liked his passing and FT shooting. The other offensive stuff is hard to gauge since he was playing against an under-sized team.

Agree about Donovan ... he is a GREAT coach. Could you imagine if he and Calipari were switched?
Towns can do so much more but is playing team ball and not forcing anything. Love that about him. Smart kid.

yeah over the next 20 games we must remember how good Towns and Okafor are and what they can bring to the Knicks for 12- 15 years. They dont want to jack Shveyd vale up where other teams might see MLe for 2 years or something and we need the high pick DESPERATELY. Someone as right in this thread--its pretty simple we will in by coming in last place there is no doubt in my mind. We cant compromise it.
BRIGGS@ 3/13/2015 5:45 PM
I think A J hammons is earning his way into a first round pick. He really has picked it up 2n half of this year. He could end up a real steal as a legit 5 7-1 275 end of rd 1.
FistOfOakley@ 3/13/2015 5:48 PM
weiland highlighted him in his top 60... he's come on as of late...
BRIGGS@ 3/13/2015 6:45 PM
Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks them in rd one and then if they dont have an elite match up i.e Kentucky Duke take him to go to rd 16--you;ll gain a LOT of points. . I won my wife's bracket at her school 3 out of the last 5 years.
TPercy@ 3/13/2015 11:34 PM
@Briggs Where would you put Joel Embidd in the group of Towns and Okafor
CrushAlot@ 3/14/2015 12:11 AM
I wonder if Christmas drops more not being in a conference tourney or the ncaa tourney. He still is a second rounder in most mocks. I think Phil will get a second rounder somehow this year. If he could grab Christmas in addition to one of Okafor/Towns/Russell it would be awesome.
BRIGGS@ 3/14/2015 12:37 AM
Port is has to be in the top 10.Brice Johnson has helped his stock this weekend as well as Hammond Hammond is a top 20 pick

Crush right now I'm hoping that our future 4 is sitting at pick 1or 2 I'd like to see rakeems combine scores and physical measurements

Weren't you really open on trading the pick for him at one point.

Jon Horford -- possible NBA backup big man or no? Probably goes undrafted -- maybe a guy to watch in Portsmouth/NBA summer league/NBDL. Could he develop into something serviceable maybe?
FistOfOakley@ 3/14/2015 12:35 PM
he's old... and not that good..
Finestrg@ 3/14/2015 12:51 PM
Jon Horford = 6'10" 250, only 23 years old. Mobile and he's got a little jump-shot. Donovan likes him. Has never really played a ton, even when he was with Michigan. Wouldn't surprise me if he went to the DL, started putting up 15/10/1.5+ type numbers and became a Gatorade callup candidate one day.
