out of the 2, I'll give them effort - & only for the last 7-10 games.

Let them put 2 decent playoff seasons together with a good pick this year & some prime F.A. talent.

Culture change starts with 2016/17 - if management doesn't totally FUBAR anything from this next draft onwards.

Lottery balls are out of anyones control though (can we deflate a few of them?), so let's not think Okafor is given in any way.

it has nothing to do with winning games.. at all really. it has to do with how this team has been playing games. this roster would never be good enough to win more than 30 games in a good year. but when you have a healthy melo, add in a top draft pick, a FA or two and then you got something. this team is playing how i think pjax and fisher envisioned them to play now.

Culture has already changed. The team is headed in the right direction. It's not about selfishness anymore.

The changes were not philosophical, they were personnel related. Galloway, Thomas, and Amundson have played inspired D, and even Calderon and Jayson Smith have stepped it up. Anthony has been fine, given his physical limitations, and Prigs and Larkin continue to be pests on D.

Because if THJR is more sizzle than steak and we're reaping benefits of D-League callups

THJR isn't that good and has to improve in so many different areas

Would you qualify THJR an above average defender, is he even an average defender in your eyes

Well that's Than's calling card defense why not call him up and give him a shot

We can always send him back down if he's a major liability

We are trying to develop and lose or are we trying to develop and win to eff up the draft position

Than's cap hit would be near irrelevant here

He'd have a similar situation as Galloway had except possibly more guaranteed money and-or longer yrs

We're just trying to be cheap over a couple hundred thousand buying time on the financial yrs

Instead of reaping more immediate benefits from development and triangle learning curve

I also get a kick that Melo[before shutdown] and these callups need time together to set the tone for next yr

But Than is fine right where he is in the DL learning at the same learning curve clip without these guys

Not sure what your obsession is with bringing up Thanasis. As long as he is in Westchester he is the property of the Knicks without taking up a salary slot. He is working with Knick developmental people and is being monitored by Knick staff. He also could stand to improve his game some. What you call being cheap in this situation most would call being smart.

Not sure what your obsession is with bringing up Thanasis. As long as he is in Westchester he is the property of the Knicks without taking up a salary slot. He is working with Knick developmental people and is being monitored by Knick staff. He also could stand to improve his game some. What you call being cheap in this situation most would call being smart.

I just cant read line after line of his without getting a headache so Ill lump on your post. Phil's got clear and logical reasons for Thanisis staying the D league for the whole year. F5 is just rattling the can... funny, the empty can rattles the loudest.

Nobody says the team has righted the ship. Its obvious play "A" did not work. Its obvious there were players not on board with the program. Its not obvoious because you said it, but the record.

Fish has this raggy group playing hard. Thats all. Durant or not, OKC is a better team than ours!!!! Your suppose to win at home, and when their star is out.
Fish is finding his way on a team in constant change.

Nobody says you have to be a cheer leader or have more "Spirit". Just not be one sided to prove your points would be a good start.

I'll take some hard working journeymen and vets who aren't looking to cash in

Here and there but want for once to see us groom our own keep them and they become great

Free agency is a major plus too but don't overspend

I was past the point how bad we were product wise as I can reason it'll lead to the lottery

If we don't mess it up as things stand

And I was never hard on Coach Fisher like most impatient fans. He's a rookie, Phils a rookie, the team lacks elite NBA talent, NY Media and fan presure. I'm not surprised at all....But I know if anybody can weather the storm.....Fisher and Phil Jackson has the demeanor to weather the NYC storms.

I do mix it up more than you want to give credit for

But remember when we acquired Acy in trade there were whispers

We were getting a mini "Dennis Rodman"

So if I need to mix it up more what does the other side of hemisphere need to do

There's a big difference. We've been talking about being patient and that things weren't DOOMED to failure forever. We all acknowledge that plan A was a failure, but that didn't mean that Phil and Fish etc are a failure just that we now know for sure that the players we had refused to fully buy in. Phil dumped those guys and has been steadily trying to find players who want to be here and want to play hard. Made no sense to ramble on and on about Phil and the franchise in a negative light. Not when we know this team is about to make major changes.

Trashing Phil, Fish and the Triangle was shortsighted. This change is a process and it's only just begun. Phil had to find out exactly what the source of the disease was and cut it out. It was a painful process and left him open for ridicule but it's also allowed us to see the truth. Now we have a roster full of guys that fit better what the new culture is around here. Phil still has a huge task of trying to land the front line talent for the team but the back end of the roster is taking shape.

I think Acy is more Reggie Evans than Rodman. He might not be here next year. Great hustle and rebounding but Lacks IQ
