Knicks · Wow I doubt this happens but would not be good (page 1)

this would totally be our luck.
gunsnewing @ 2/13/2015 2:09 PM
I don't think so. You always here this kind of talk but that's all it is imo
fishmike @ 2/13/2015 2:16 PM
yea.. this is pure lip service. Kinda like when Lebron was checking out schools. When your the easy #1 pick and barring you arent killed before the draft a lock for top 3 you go.

If he needed one more year to graduate etc then hmmmm... maybe. Not the case. He's in the draft.

mreinman @ 2/13/2015 2:19 PM
this would be the dumbest move a player could make.

when you are near #1 you don't stay in school.

thankfully okafor isnt the only bigtime prospect. Russell or towns may have a higher ceiling than okafor

Yeah, Marcus Smart cost himself a few million dollars by staying an extra year. OK4 would be costing himself more since he's pretty much the consensus #1. That said, I don't think any extra year in college would hurt his game. It would only develop it more.

Yea but it makes it harder for us to land Towns or Russell.

They said the same thing about Jabari Parker. I wouldn't put a ton of stock in this.

Exactly. I remember Briggs being worried about him not coming out last year

If the kid is looking at this from a happiness perspective, than he is smarter than most.
No matter how much the money, nor how little, follow your heart, follow your bliss, do what you love.
gunsnewing @ 2/13/2015 3:37 PM
Either stay one year or four years imo

knicks1248 @ 2/13/2015 3:41 PM
He should stay 4 yrs and get more polish
Nalod @ 2/13/2015 4:00 PM
I think Duncan was like 20 or just 21 when he graduated. He got to college young.
His mother died when he was 14 and she made him promise he'd graduate college.

Oka4 is happy in college as was Parker which is a testimate to coach K.
when all is said and done these guys have been grooming themselves to be a pro and the calling is strong.
