I really will be content with a top 3 pick. It is hard to know which player develops the best over the first few years and then for their career as a whole.
I would probably pick Okafor (as of right now) but later in the year things might not be so clear. Will be interesting if Okafor doesn't even come out, ala Duncan, his idol.
So, I'm trusting the Universe on this one.
That said, it would be something special for he city of New York to have another "Ewing" like event.
Minnesota - I think they need Karl Towns talent. They already have 2 centers in Dieng and big money invested in pekovic so they need a guy more versatile to play next to them. I think Towns Is going to be a jack of all trades. Closer to Anthony Davis style than a plodding big man. More finesse. Like a cross between chris gating or charlie villenueva. Anyway Towns has talent Minnesota doesn't have. I think Towns will be am nba power fwd.
Knicks - Okafor....kid is damn good in the post. Seems like a typical duke personality. I dunno how good the kid is going to be, but he should be able to come right in and start for us at center. Kinda reminds me of Jermaine O'Neal. Or elden cambell. Kevin Duckworth, Brad daughtery....just not sure how good he's going to be.
Philly - D'Angelo Russell is the leader they need. They lack a perimeter scorer and that who he is. He'll help Mcw and space it out for all the other prospects they been building up the Lat few years.
Lakers - mundiay....I think he will either push kobe over the edge or light a fire in him. The Lakers are bad.
Orlando - Miles Turner.... they need to help their star center out inside.
This draft is comparable to the great 1996 draft

Minny would probably trade down one spot and take Towns rather then just draft him. That of course if they knew that the team (Knicks in this case) were interested in Ok4.
Orlando will probably look at Stanley Johnson to replace Harris and would be a good fit there.

1. Minnesota
2. Knicks
3. Philly
4. Lakers
5. Orlando
Post how you think it should go
I thought we were number 1?
Anyways, personally I feel Mudiay is this years Dante Exum and thinks it's ridiculous that he's ranked higher than Russell. Also, I think the Lakers will end the season with the worst record. Are OK4 and Randle compatible?

Mudiay is getting credit due to his elite athletic ability and breakdown ability.
1. Okafor. Minny won't pass him up. They will put him next to dieng and try to move pekovic.
2. Russell. I think Phil sees his likeness to curry and harden as a great triangle fit.
3. Mundiay. Philly isn't about fit, they will move MCW because mundiay is probably an upgrade.
4. Towns. He and Randall are a great future front court for the lakers.
5. Johnson. Orlando will like him for his toughness and insurance to losing Harris.

But not going to college and now not playing at all for months is hugely detrimental to his development, especially for a player who's more athleticism over fundamentals.
I actually think russell might turn out to be the best of the bunch. Okafor gets the hype but his flaws on the other side of the court concern me

Russell will get dissected for not being an elite athlete, but the fact is he's the best basketball player to come out in awhile.
