they can all joined other teams and have suceess simply because they are not utilize correctly as knicks. You can thank the coach and his dumb ass game plan
I guess this confirms Tyson's issues weren't with Amare. Like I said then it was with Woodson and/or Melo

Melo said he gave serious consideration to signing with Dallas because he wanted to play with both Dirk and Tyson. I doubt it was Melo.

You can also believe Felton when he said he helped recruit Melo. Melo wasnt going to Dallas, Dallas iirc was the only team not to even offer a reported contract.

I could totally get behind Dallas ow if Flu wasn't there. I can't think of many guys I loathe more. Probably because he s supposed to be a character guy and he was so far from that his last year plus as a Knick.
The Knicks do that to you. I really dont fault Tyson for wanting to remove himself from this garbage in NY.
Don't fault anyone for not wanting to be here...Just be a man and own it...When you get owned in the playoffs by Hibbert, man up and say I didn't get the job done..Don't point fingers...

yea thats right. Well at least thats narrowed down to Woodson. Which is no surprise

None of that explains why Melo would specifically mention Tyson.
I don't recall Felton saying that but it doesn't surprise me that he'd want to take credit for an all-star coming here.
Actually its kinda hard to place 100% of the blame on Woodson. Tyson was very critical of the isolations but that is what got woodson the job. Melo welcomed the isolation after failing miserably at team ball under Dantoni. It was Woodson's job to keep Melo happy.
I guess its unclear how Tyson feels about Melo

The werent good teammates, but they respect each other, that would be my reasoning for mentioning Tyson.
As far as Felton recruiting...this is what I recall...
Felton, acquired in the trade that also brought Tyson Chandler to the Mavericks, said Tuesday he has “talked a few times” to Anthony about recruiting the high-scoring forward to the Mavericks.
“If I can convince that man to do that, that would be great,” Felton said. “Like I told him before , I would love to play with him, it would be great. He’s been my friend his high school. But Carmelo’s got to do what’s best for Carmelo. And only he’s going to make that whole decision by himself.”
Anthony is one of the most sought-after free agents on the market this summer. He visited the Mavericks last week.
“Obviously, if we can get Carmelo it would be great to have a player of his caliber,” Felton said. “But I’m pretty sure we’re going to add some more guys even if we don’t get Carmelo. We’re going to be able to add some more guys to the team that’s going to help.”
Felton followed in Chandler’s footsteps in trying to convince Anthony that Dallas is the place for him. The Mavericks have since fallen into the middle of the pack (at best) in the race for Anthony’s services. Most analysts believe he will return to New York or choose between Chicago and the Los Angeles Lakers.

I would enjoy a Cavs vs Mavs finals: JR, Shump & Mosgov vs Tyson, Amar'e and Felton- ha!
I'd love to see Dallas win the West but GS or SAS seems more likely.
I <3 Amar'e for his wine bath interview. I hope he makes a triple double every game in Dallas. That said, the Knicks can find a less expensive forward.
