Sounds like that is going to happen but Lopez makes almost 12 mil more than Jax. Also, talk of it turning into a three team deal. Those don't always work out.
Think I saw Jackson would be packaged with Perkins and Perry Jones III.

Feel sorry Miller. Went from a cushy job as Wall's backup to a team going nowhere.

They are reporting that is in okc hands to make the deal. I don't see how getting Lopez makes sense for them. They would have to change the way they play. Westbrook and Durant aren't going to wait for him to make it across the half court line

Miller may be the best player I've seen moved so frequently.

yea.. he would be a nice pickup for the right price.
Very good news (Afflalo to Blazers)- should mean either he or Wes are available, and I'd like either (Wes way, way more). Odd that the Blazers would give up a 1st for a rental- which indicates they plan on keeping him.

Agree. I'd love Dragic on the team, but it's way too premature to bring him on now. Aside from the few assets we have left to trade, say we wind up with pick 3 in the draft with Okafor and Towns going 1 and 2. Do you take someone other than Russell or Mudiay? Do you still want Dragic as your FA headliner at that point?
I'd be hesitant to pull the trigger today.
Both backcourt positions need to be upgraded, so I don't see why Phil wouldn't take Russell or Mudiay. Both prospects have decent enough size.
Heat offering 2 #1's for Dragic

What are Denver doing? Just keep all your picks and chew the salary- why do this trade?
gunsnewing wrote:Any talk of brook Lopez for Jackson?
Looking very likely (according to twitter). Only issue is, how will Reggie feel being PG along with Jacks AND Deron- unless they lineup a trade to move one of those, he's going to be just as pissed as he was in OKC.

We won't. It's looking like he's going to Miami.
So thats Reggie and Tragic off the free agent table for us. If the Rockets don't pick up a PG, then they'll likely keep Beverley, which leaves us very scares in FA PG options. Best to keep Calderon at this point.
Will the Knicks do anything?
You guys are funny thinking we'd get Dragic for Calderon and THJ

Agreed and admittedly Im hoping we get Russell in the draft. Towns is my second choice. I dont see why Russell couldnt play with Goran but the FO might look towards a big man if they have a PG like Dragic locked in. Who knows. Anyway, pls no picks for Dragic.

Crazy- they already gave up a large chunk of firsts in the Lebron and Bosh trades years ago.
Still Dragic, Bosh and Whiteside are a nice enough foundation, with Wad as long as he lasts. Could come back to bite them a few years down the line.
BRIGGS wrote:Will the Knicks do anything?
Doubt it at this point. But still people will blast Phil.
gunsnewing wrote:You guys are funny thinking we'd get Dragic for Calderon and THJ
Yep, so naive thinking we could pull it off without sweetening the pot with Bargs
gunsnewing wrote:You guys are funny thinking we'd get Dragic for Calderon and THJ
But not crazy for thinking the Knicks would get Dragic for Calderon, THjr, Galloway, a swap of this years lotto pick, and an unprotected 2018 first
So basically the Nets are where we've been the past 15yrs. Building around Jackson while waiting for albatross contracts to expire.
How does King still have a job?
