Knicks · Prigioni and Mosgov (page 1)

I mention these two obviously because they were Knicks and I would call both excellent finds or awfully close. Prigs was just 5 years too late, but does anyone have a doubt he could run a high level NBA team? Good player just too late. And the Moz is turning into the beast I hoped. Wont lie.. he was my fav. I used to love those coming to america type blogs we used to translate from russian... sigh. He was OK but took a bit longer to develop.

Point is simple.. they are out there. We could really take a shot by bringing a couple nice midlevel type guys over on 1 year deals with TO for the 2nd. That would at least give us early bird and matching type rights if they blow up, or we can jettison them when we blow our wad on Durant only to see him resign forever.

It will never work here because there is no patience.

If Moz would have stayed in NY, he would have been destroyed by the media and fans(Just look how quick everyone has turned on C.Early).

To stay on topic...I think, for the most part, the Knicks have done a very good job finding those "diamond in the rough" type players. Prigs, Copeland, T.Wear.

No worry, Melo is still with the Knicks.

The funny thing is that Knick players are all over the league. We need to give this regime a chance to find and develop some guys. I've been pleased with Galloway, who was championed by Clarence Gaines Jr., Phil's one front office addition. Who knows how other players will work out. It's still early in the process.

its not funny. its downright depressing

I like what the Knicks have done with the d league. I think Lamb, bachnyski, and Thanasis are all good prospects. Hopefully the organization is scouting international guys as well. I think Grunwald was the guy that brought in Moz and prigs.

We had this foreign scout that was instrumental in our getting good intel on guys like Moz. He likely still works for the team.

Didn't he also find Cope?

This is the dumbest organization, as well as, the dumbest media market ever. They never give young players the time to come in and be successful. After one year they always want to get rid off people.

Yep. And grunwald was the guy that got Lin. I wish Grunwald was working with Phil instead of Mills.
