there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything you guys ate talking about is a bunch of bullshit drama.

Not $30M, closer to $27M; less if have the 1st or 2nd overall pick. And we have a roster almost completely devoid of talent and a GM that doesn't seem interested in scouring the D-League for hidden gems.

how would you like that 27 million allocated? are there certain free agents out there that you foresee playing well in the triangle and able to defend the position?

We have the money to spend on free agents.... what more do you want to say? We've talked about who we could get to no end already. Too many possibilities. That's all there is to say.

A top 4 pick and 30...or 27 or whatever you wanna say. We still have it.

well i gave you some "filters" to narrow down the possibilities:

1) what free agents play well in the triangle
2) what free agents will be able to defend the position

No need to answer that cuz we have talked about it in other threads.

This thread is about having a top 4 pick and cap space yet somehow this is the worst situation in sports history.

Top 4 pick and 30, 27, 25 million to spend....

I understand. It makes sense that you can only get better when you're the worst, but that doesn't mean the organization will prosper one bit. Excuse me if I remain pessimistic. This organization routinely overcommits to the wrong people and grinds what talent it has into the dust. Then players leave and prosper elsewhere.

Phil is lost. He's shot his wad on triangle BS already and he's going to keep going down that wormhole? Fisher at $25M for 5 years was insane. Bad trades, yadda yadda, not an organization on the upswing. I don't expect them to get it all right all of a sudden because they have a pick and some cap space now.

You're a fan. I'm only picking on Nix because I got really fed up with the lies. This guy fooled everyone here into believing they are a legit fan. They were once, but they are the one on this board who is truly on the dark side, not me. I'm merely negative. They are truly duplicitous. He's not what he pretends to be. He's hustling for Dolan. You are not. Big difference.

No. A basic ability to discern who is lucid in their thought and speech is not everyone's strong suit. Most are easily manipulated due to their inability to distinguish the fundamental difference between having a point of view and having an agenda.

You can identify most suckers by how they tell people with a negative outlook they have an agenda. It shows they can't make clear distinctions.

Most suckers hate discussions of motive. They claim you can't prove anything, that is all subjective. So when someone is on the right track about motive it is usually discredited by the majority who fear the possibility of it being true.

I was very clear about Melo's motives. Even if some still can't handle the truth, I think my assertions that Character = Destiny were prophetic when stacked up against the lame, angry rebuttals by the Melo defenders.

I was very clear about Phil being a sellout who sold his soul to Dolan for $60M. Nothing has deterred me from this assertion in the meantime.

And I'm being very clear that Nix is not just pushing a blindly optimistic point of view. He is agenda driven to the extreme and he is pushing the corporate agenda. He is no longer a super fan. He just plays one on UK.

No, I don't have their name.

When you know people both at MSG and at McKinsey, the picture comes into focus pretty quickly. Dolan pays people who orchestrate this nonsense. If anyone wants to question my assertion that there are paid plants on various Knicks boards, then I have a bridge to sell you.

If you understand this practice is actually being done, then it is possible to pretty much figure out who is up to this dirty business.

This is not a court. You can dismiss me as a gossip if you want. I'm fine with that. At least some of you will figure out what is going on and the rest will carry on like the ostriches they have always been.

Yeah this is pretty extreme especially from a guy that has 'intervened'as a peacemaker in the past and asked other posters to keep things civil. Nix has been here forever. He is the eternal optimist. Not sure when opposing view points became bad but he hasn't changed and usually has reasons to back up his optimism.

Why come to a knicks fan site to do your best Steven A smith impression. This team sucks.....duh cuz were trying to get a top 4 pick in this draft. What am i missing?

now you are just being silly. Nobody said we would suck.

I guess that was referred to me...I did predict they'd suck. Just not this bad.
i predicted 35 wins so i was way off lol. I like positivity but value honesty in order to get better. The OP thinks its so easy just because we have cap room and a pick. I respect his optimism but im still looking for a little realism

Honestly, I'm not that concerned what other fans think, only I control my thinking or enjoyment of the team. To be honest, they've provided me quite a few good laughs this season. I do know however that building a team isnt easy at all, hopefully Phil didnt think it would be, just like it isnt easy to walk in and coach...hopefully Fisher doesnt have that view.

Mhe team basically has just Melo amd maybe two other hopefuls. Folks want to talk about the future, but only want to look over the hood of their car. I'm looking further out than that, because no way this team can assemble a complete fit of a roster in one offseason. No team has truly done that without player conspiracy.

Actually, building a team is easy. Building a team around Melo is hard.

Speaking of Melo, why are you posting? He's still on the team.

To expose this BS.

You mean to accuse Nix of being an MSG plant? Well, I'm not in the habit of just calling people crazy so do you have any proof? And I mean proof about the MSG plant part. Just talking about Nix's posts will only prove that, at best, he's incredibly optimistic.

At least some of you will figure out what is going on and the rest will carry on like the ostriches they have always been.

hey this is GREAT news! i'd better step up my game and start slicing and dicing in earnest.

Well, you probably don't have to exercise much finesse with your nunchuks and ginsu knives to dismantle corporate mouthpieces like that toadie Nix. Phil Jackson is doing just fine bringing the organization down around his ankles.

Phil just tweeted:

"Today's game vs Cavs gave bb gods heartburn and those that know what "it" takes/means a smh."

Guy is really out to lunch. One unified direction my butt.

This franchise is not doomed. It is already toast. Doom requires anticipation. There's nothing to anticipate any longer. The organization is mentally bankrupt. Jackson will not last five years, though Nix will probably still be posting his corrupt idiocy.

On a personal note- this balanced optic viewpoint in the midst of pure Knicks dogdoo is a sign that Eny's family life is very rich healthy and wholesome, Eny- glad to see you are obviously saner and calmer than the average man.
That being said, as an average man- I'm panicking and starting to Phil like all those other times.....

Good post. Knowing Eny, I think you nailed the psychology of it
