Breaking News:
Durant may be out for the rest of the season. What if Westbrook leads OKC to the finals minus Durant, will you all feel different about the dude?

They've played roughly .400 ball without him this season. Not sure they'll even make the playoffs if Durant is out the rest of the year.

With the new roster they now have, they are a complete team minus Durant. They can now play inside out. Ibaka can now do his things. They will be a nightmare in the playoffs; with or without Durant. Westbrook will finally earn his due respect.

I don't have "feelings for him"..
You sound like a real fan boy!
But if he can lead his out of the playoff team now to the finals, I will "think of him different", yes, MVP type for sure.
Westbrook is one of my favorite players to watch, too. He plays with emotion and often makes terrible decisions, but it's hard to root against him.
I really want to see OKC vs GSW in the first round of the playoffs - with a healthy Durant back in the fold.
I enjoy watching Westbrook play too- I know Harden has better numbers and is carrying that Rockets team, but I would choose to watch Westbrook play over him any day of the week

He is feasting on Indiana as we speak. I don't know why anyone would despise this young dude. He is playing at such a high level right now, it is scary.
Russell and Kanter have such great chemistry...if those two can continue to play like that, the NBA will be in trouble

russell westbrook is not a motivator. i don't think he's even going to be a hall of famer.
Kanter could play, Westbrook has the skills to create for others, we do not have that type of player along with players like Durant/Ibaka *especially to cover for Kanter's weakness's*
In a lesser extent, it is why Tyson Chandler/JR Smith/Iman Shumpert, all playing on different levels once they leave the NYK's
What many players/talents could do on OTHER teams, doesn't mean they would have translated the same way if they were on NYK's, we have to understand and accept that
If we really wanted, we could offer Kanter a big contract *probably not even max* and OKC will be unlikely to match given their history as he is a RFA
Utah sold Kanter for a LATE 1st rounder, while many teams/GM's tend to be unwilling to give us such deals as history shows
