Knicks · Another intersting PG prospect that is on now Maryland's Melo Tribble (page 1)

BRIGGS @ 2/24/2015 7:23 PM
Hes also a 6-2 PG has an array of moves and a beautiful shot. he leads the entire ACC in FT attempts and shoots .4 from 3 as a freshmen. Kind of over-shadowed but real smooth.

It would have been nice to see him make one pass, you know, just to prove that he's a point guard. Petty good shooter though.
TPercy @ 2/24/2015 8:02 PM
he can really play, I've watched him in high school games as he went to one of my rival high schools. He played/plays much more of a SG though.

I was saying the same thing that it's be nice to see a pass or a dump off or some kind of sharing of the ball.

He's not ready for the NBA at 19 years old. He's an interesting high usage freshmen PG for the future. Tyus Jones is much more of a pure PG that I think could go mid 1st round.

Great find Briggs. I've watched a few Maryland games and this kid is a really nice player.

TPercy said though, he does play more like a SG but still...if he enters the draft, and the Knicks score a late first rounder, he is one to keep an eye on.

Yeah, I think he would benefit from staying one more year at least in college that way he would get his draft position up a lot, possible grow idk and work on his other aspects of his game. He is more of a very early 2nd rounder imo

Nice player like the way he dribbles full speed with his head up. Another guy to watch he is a junior small school player Mikh McKinny. Shoots 50% from the floor and 40% from three.
Bonn1997 @ 2/25/2015 9:12 AM
Another Melo? Can we give him 124 mil too?

Just imagine if we add Fab Melo too.

He's got a smooth handle with nice form. I dont consider Galloway a 1--I mean we really dont have a PG on this team that I would consider someone we can go forward with. Larkin is not bad but hes just so small that there will always be some deficiency. Im not against giving him another year but I think it may be wasted space. Calderon is unmentionable. Id rather go to war with a PG who can simply distribute and play an athletic style of pitbull defense than watch Calderon go net negative every single game to superior athletes. Im really surprised at Phil Jackson. This is the one move that was fcn bad and I hope he rectifies it.

This guys almost looks like a freshmen Steph Curry @ Davidson. Not ready for primetime but look at that shot and how he handles the ball just like Curry--head up sneaky quick to the hole. It will be interesting to see him next year--hope he stays in school.

Hes the type of player that helps you win the NC. Kemba Walker Shabazz Napier Khalid Amin. Hes actually taller than those guys. We have a hybrid PG named Daniel Hamilton who's 6-8 and he could be an NBA superstar down the line.

Melo Tremble is expected to be staying anyway in Murrland. Will be a very exciting prospect next year tho.

Imagine Melo Tremble, Carmelo Anthony, and Cleanthony Early
