On a side note: Galloway to make all Rookie team?(POY out of question cuz of Wiggins)

He has been in Sheridan's top 10 for rookies almost every week since he was called up.

He's been in cbs sports top 10 too

Does the GM get any credit for that? Seeing a player in the summer, signing him to the D league, grooming him, bringing him up and now he's rated as a top 10 rookie after being undrafted? Would that factor into anyone's assesment of what Phil is doing here? Or has that WHOLE process just been dumb luck?

It's not dumb luck until we trade him and 3 first round picks for Rudy Gay.

the day is young and Splat has time to kill....

It is interesting, when I watch Galloway play, I think I'm watching someone who bounced around the D-League for a couple of years before getting a chance. He has too much poise...
But this is a rookie and we are comparing him to guys with years of experience. Not bad Phil, not bad at all.

Thats Galloways number one asset at the moment- veteran poise. it's what makes him a clutch shooter. I wish Early had some of it, its the number one thing holding him back.

Splat's gone off picture mode. I wonder if he's had some sort of religious conversion that doesn't condone idolatrous images...

By the way, wtf did Steve Mills have to do with Langston, exactly?

Yeah, poise is his game, and defense and shooting when it counts. He is just a rookie, but already I am impressed. Gonna be nice watching him mature the next 2 years.
I like Early, I really think he is lacking confidence at this level. When he goes to the DLeague you can see him just let go. A bit over muscled here as well, but the kid has skills.

Waiting for Beverly to post a -41 game.

If they were available at the same price, it would be crazy to take galloway. But if Beverly costs 8 or 10 times more than gallo, gallo is probably the better gamble.

So your prefer to use an arguable stat from one game to provide some evidence to your position? Brilliant.

I do too, I think he relies too much on 3pt sooting rather than playing to is strengths
