Not sure i understand your post. ....but i agree with your thread title. Winslow was my sleeper....i dont think hes a sleeper anymore. And he could be that hidden superstar everybody pass on.

I have him at #4. I think most places have S Johnson higher--but I dont think so.

JW is fantastic. I just think they are a little different. Johnson is stronger, and thats saying a lot because JW has an NBA body for sure. I think Johnson has more skill than he's actually shown, or gets to show there. Both are below where we are picking but I would be happy with either in some trade down scenario. Johnson jumps out at me because he's going to be able to defend NBA wings right away. Of course he plays the same position as you know who.

I agree with his defense.....but JW is also tough on defense...maybe a slight notch below Johnson.

As far as offense....JW seems to have a big advantage and may be even better in a different system. Im starting to get down on johnson. His inconsistent offense and defensive laps in crutch time scared me the last few games...

This but Johnson is also 240lbs already. Johnson is also the better rebounder and FT shooter which is big. He gets to the foul line at a good rate and can actually make them.

FistOfOakley @ 3/2/2015 11:45 AM
winslow's conference numbers are unimpressive which is something to worry about... he's ok in a lot of areas and the 3pt shooting is nice but he needs to score more frequently and do it more efficiently... he's just not doing that right now...

stanley johnson is better now as a prospect.. it's not that close...

TPercy @ 3/2/2015 11:52 AM
Keep in mind That Winslow is also on a stacked team..
FistOfOakley @ 3/2/2015 12:04 PM
with college prospects if you're on a stacked team most prospects still find a way to stand out.... at least the good ones... if you look at the fab five.. everyone knew the best player was chris webber and jalen and juwan were certain lotto picks... the florida teams with noah, horford, brewer were the same way...

Winslow is an inch shorter and 1o pounds lighter--but hes a better athlete a better ball handler a betters outside shooter from what I have seen a better rebounder. Also when Okafor is out of there--Winslow tends to be an effective alpha dog. He can score more if he more att.

I really like a lot of players in the draft, Winslow reminds me a bit of a Jimmy Butler

This where we disagree. I think Stanley is tge better athlete and he's the guy more prepared to impose his will on the pro-level. Truth be told, i'l be disappointed if either one is the top pick we obtain during the draft.

they are tough to predict.

Look at the guys taking before Paul George... You can see why. They were wrong, but for the same reasons you wouldnt want us to take either of these guys with a high pick. Could be the next great NBA wing, could be the next Wilson Chandler. Its very tough to quantify after 1 or 2 years of CBB and the just another reason why the NBA draft is a crapshoot.

He's gonna be a lottery pick so how can he be a sleeper or hidden?

That's exactly who I compare him to.
