Knicks · Travis Wear needs to go to the d-league (page 1)

He brings nothing. He plays like an assistant coach filling in because they don't have enough healthy players to practice. He hasn't looked at the basket in months

100% agree with him needing to go to the D league.
Needs to stop playing soft and settling for just jumpshots.

Greetings from Brazil! I remember Phil talking about sending him to the D-League (and also some other dellusional stuff)

"Travis Wear is another impressive rookie," Knicks president Phil Jackson said recently. "He's 6-10 with a terrific handle, outstanding athleticism and a nice touch from beyond the arc. He was overshadowed at UCLA but has the skill set to play every position from 1 to 4. We'll eventually place him in the D-League, where his possible NBA future solely depends on his ability to learn how to defend."

He hasn't been the same since the hip injury- think he's been battling through it for the past few months.

He had a hip injury?

Yup, that's why he stopped getting minutes a few months/weeks ago

If you say so. I guess that could be his excuse for not taking advantage of his opportunities here.

I remember seeing the injury noted in box scores but I don't recall any coverage of it. He still could use some court time in the d l I think. Not sure if he is a keeper at this point. It would be nice to know what the hip injury was.

He gets the same money whichever Knicks team he is on...No?

Getting him a stretch of 35mpg games in Westchester would help him.

Let Early get major minutes on the parent team, no matter how he plays.

Have to keep Wear if only to win games against the Cavs
