I don't think there is 1 prospect in the drfat who is mid level size 6-5 and up who has these skills with the athletic ability and hes in 8th grade.

Well let him get to HS!
gunsnewing@ 3/10/2015 8:54 PM
So stupid that he has to play a year of High School ball. Maybe this is the next phenom. I heard about Lebron filling Jordan's shoes years before he was drafted

We got a 1ster in 2020 right? Better make some reservations for the Tank for 2020 then.

Definitely should start angleling right now to draft this kid in 2020.
Seriously though this kid is special
nyk4ever@ 3/10/2015 9:30 PM
gotta wonder if he's already 6'5 how much more he'll grow? kid has serious skills - also wonder if all that dunking at an early age is bad for his knees?

Ehh, the good 8th graders are dunking nowadays.
gunsnewing@ 3/10/2015 9:41 PM
Had a guy 6'6 in grade school. Played Center and dunked on everyone. Wonder what happened to him and how tall he grew to be

Let's hope he doesn't lose his mind before he finishes highschool. He is certainly talented
Uptown@ 3/10/2015 10:27 PM
Insane skill development for such a young teen. I coach 8th graders and I know how difficult it is to train them from the ground up and get them ready for HS. This kid has not only be balling since he escaped the womb, but he's been getting some serious fundamental training...Amazing!!!
yellowboy90@ 3/10/2015 10:27 PM
He would be allowed to play for a High School team where I live. If I was him I would hit the books and graduate early. Then again it maybe best to enjoy your youth. I hope he has a good head on his shoulders and a great support system around him.
gunsnewing@ 3/10/2015 10:31 PM
It's like he has another gear more than the average human
BRIGGS@ 3/10/2015 10:33 PM
He actually looks like MJ with that fadeaway from the side and the double pump reverse layup. This guy would be the number 1 pick when he comes out for sure. If his body develops--I might be giving up HS at 16 if they can get me a huge endorsement deal and 3mm a yr in china.
Nalod@ 3/10/2015 10:34 PM
Our best player was 5-11 and was dunking. Super freaky athlete. Never grew, never got better. By high school he was tapped. OJ mayo was the same height he as in 8th grade and seen as the next big thing. Not to say he was a bust by any means! This is fun stuff! We all wonder who the next king will be. Lebron has no peer yet. Obvious he is crazy athletic for his age.
gunsnewing@ 3/10/2015 10:36 PM
the question is will he be able to do all that at 6'11''-7'0'' and how will he adjust. If he can still do those things watch out! Plenty of successful bigs who were guards as teenagers but had a growth spurt

His handle for his size/age is incredible.

unreal.

alot can happen in between the 8th grade and college... being big at an early age can actually work to your detriment... i remember derick caracter was hyped as an 8th grader... so was telfair... felipe lopez who was slightly before that era and countless other high school stars that fizzle out in college...
most of these kids will look incredible on a highlight reel but don't measure up when the competition gets stiff and they dont really face national competition until they start hitting the all star games... that's where you really start seeing the talent separate itself...
the one and done rule saved a lot of teams from picking complete busts...
