Stands to reason. According to this thread, everyone is some other poster. Enyspree starts a thread that immortalizes Splat. Every time one of you says you're done, the other one starts up. Not to mention that Enyspree says several times in this thread that SPlat is the greatest poster on UK (Sure, you'd like us to think that was sarcasm, but that's just you hiding in plain sight).

This thread is still going. I would the credit to the Mod and also that is why this place is so lovely.

I am making a rough assumption that it is possible that maybe you either disagree with him, a lot, or you find him kind of annoying. Let me tell you, it would have to take a lot more to get someone banned, from my experience. I remember there were points when page one of the KNICKS part of this forum was nothing but Playas race and conspiracy threads... And he was still allowed back on a couple of occasions. (Lets not make that mistake again.) There were other times when you constantly hear spme people say the most f'ed up crap. It's all part of the discussion.
My guess is if Splat were really that bad, I would have noticed in my somewhat limited time being here.

It was just silly. The thread was started by someone whom I've already seen has periodic spazz outs where they start flaming people or the board as a whole, not exactly the type you'd want to base standards of community behavior upon.
It was a good thread because it allowed discussion about those standards and the majority stood up for actual principles. And some other people really showed their true colors and that is always very interesting.
The ones who regularly flame posters and try to make them feel unwelcome are usually the least tolerant people. Getting them to articulate their principles can be like pulling teeth, probably because they often have none. Their attitude is this is my sandbox, now GTFO! When people dish it out, but can't take it, they usually want their way or the highway which is not a basis for hashing things out. This thread showed who is willing to put aside the attitude long enough to actually discuss conflict.
There were some good surprises. Fishmike actually showed a peaceful side. That was good. I'll take it.
