Probably, I just hope that they work it out that they give him a contract lower than his qualifying offer to take his $6m cap hold of the cap. Regardless of what some have said the thing about SHved is that he doesn't have a real track record. Looking at his data on Draftexpres he never really played that many games overseas and besides his rookie year he hasn't played that much in the nba. THjr has played more NBA minutes than Shved and he is a bench player. So who knows if he is a poor shooter or can improve his shot.
I know triangle philosophy wants good shooters, but even if he is below average isn't the more important quality the ability to orchestrate, penetrate and get to the line? I mean the Knicks could have a quasi-Rubio player here

Only his 3rd year in the NBA.
Came over to the NBA at a later age.
Still has a lot of time to prove himself for next year.
Need to go to bed but it's too much fun watching Shved.

yuck, imo.
Judging Shved so far in Ny:
Regardless of his poor shooting he can get to the line and that helps his lack of shooting ability. Also, that is a skill other Knicks outside of Melo lacks. Every offense needs people who can get easy points and Phil offenses had players that could get to the line. If that ability to get to the line 7-8 times a game is real Shved becomes a efficient version of Rondo/Rubio but that is a big if. Demar Derozan was a terrible offensive player
His ability to orchestrate and rebound also helps him in earning a shot. If he couldn't do those things it would be a waste to even think about giving him a chance. All I am saying is that his entire career (overseas/states) is a small sample size which makes him a mystery. This whats separates someone like him and Bargs.
So are the Knicks going to blow this and win the game?

Would it be guilty to say yes here?

Phil wants them to win and talked with the team. I think they win this.

Probably wants to spank the Lakers then go home and have rough Malibu grandfather sex with Jeannie

What Phil have talked actually?
We actually have a nice looking offense at times.
Compare the movement you see now with what we showed in the beginning of the year and it is like comparing night to day.

Yup. It's clear as day that despite the lack of talent the Knicks are executing the offense in terms of the ball and player movement.
Also to the Shved doubters this is who he actually is as a player. The guy has talent and just needed a chance. If he can continue to improve and get a bit stronger he's a great find.
THJ is feelin it tonight. If only he was more consistent.
Nice play by Fish and Shved to Early was sweet
Boozer is winning this game for us
Shved with his eyes surveying the court and making the right decisions.
Shved with another one of those 13-5-7 and the game isn't even over. No wonder his per is so high
Lakers playing like they don't want it.
why are we not playig like that!
Shved should have more assists tonight - Knicks have missed some wide open looks he's gotten them. He could have a triple double. Kid is a definite keeper.
