Alright now that Selection Sunday is over who are you going to pick to win the tourney? any surprise upsets in your brackets?
hard to pick against kentucky.... arizona has the team to beat them though and in an easy bracket....
utah got jerked who i really like but they get a real tough matchup against stephen f. austin right off the bat...
Anyone in any of their brackets have Georgia going far?
georgia against a michigan state team that's playing well.... i don't think you'll find too many people picking against izzo...
i got louisville out in the 2nd round against northern iowa. louisville CAN NOT shoot whatsoever and that kills you tourney time.
I see people picking a Kentucky-N.Iowa final. That would be quite an accomplishment for Northern Iowa

I got them out against Wyoming. I agree about what you said about thier shooting, they shoot at 51% TS as a team and that is pretty crappy as a team. They shoot 30% from 3 and 47% EFG.
If you want upset sleepers take Stephen Austin--they are incredible. Also from the same bracket E Washinghton over G town. I picked them to 16. Take Iowa to beat Gonzaga in rd 2 and SMU to come out to final 8 to play Duke. Duke to move on to play Michigan State. Valapraiso has one heckuva chance to beat Maryland and Buffalo CAN beat West Virginia. Notre Dame is my upset of the year to beat Kentucky and will move on to play North Carolina and lose. NC Duke rematch with NC cutting the nets.

My projections have Georgia making it out of the first round, then getting nailed by Virginia.
I think Arizona takes it all. Obviously it's all a bit of a crapshoot, but I'm not a huge believer in Kentucky this year.
I think Utah makes a little bit of a run and I think Georgetown is first round cannon fodder.
I do think this kind of One And Done environment really helps to sort out the talent tier of coaches out there. Some coaches IMHO just aren't built for helping their teams getting over the hump.
I suppose I didn't realize it way back then, but that Loyola team, the Hank Gathers situation, not sure I'll ever see a team or story like that again. With such a wide field, there is always some super interesting player narratives built into the tournament. It's too bad the NBA could never replicate this kind of excitement level.
Delon Wright has to really bring it for Utah for them to make that run because they have some tough as teams to play but I agree monstly with the points you make especially with the arizona one, I have one where they beat Kentucky in the finals.
i love tourney time... i have multiple brackets but i basically have kentucky or arizona winning...
it's a very top heavy bracket this year... final four should be all 1 or 2 seeds...
wichita state is underrated and have an ok path to make the elite 8... i also like utah a lot and have them as a sleeper in a bracket to make the final...

Brackets will be broke all over the place. This will end up as a cluster fck. Northeastern slowed the game down on ND and without Auguste having a great game--wouldve easily lost. Only hit 2 3's
