Briggs hijacked your thread again ... sorry dude.
Wichita State is viscious
Players of weekend
Jahill Okafor pushed any doubter back to pick #1
Justice Winslow--a Manu Ginobli Jimmy Butler type clone Top 5 Pick
Joe Young--a late first round pick athletic savvy skilled great shooter good size if he can transform to PG. Pick 25-30
Jakob Poetl--maybe the highest riser avg 13 points 5 rebounds 3 blocks on 93% shooting He is clearly a top 10 pick.
Honorable mention Fred Van Fleet--has some Jose Barea in him--2nd round pick 40-50
i don't see how okafor answered the defensive questions...
winslow i agree is looking like a top 5 pick...
poeltl's been a favorite of mine.. he's probably not coming out tho...
okafor vs poeltl should be interesting...
What's the deal with the Arizona PG T.J. McConnell? He has been great in the tourney
i like him but his problem is that he doesn't score... there is little precedent for a pg who doesn't score succeeding at any level in the nba.. one such player is eric snow.. but eric snow had great size...
i think he'll likely float around the nba for years and maybe find a good bench role somewhere...
i should clarify.. scoring on the collegiate level...

No size and athleticism. Strictly a college player having a good tourney.

Best player of the court that last game, though, and you had the two top ten guys who were being gushed over for most of the game.
Even looked like he could defend a little when up against Russell.
I never count this kind of player out when thinking about how he might translate into the NBA.
You might very well be right about his shortcomings as an NBA player, but who knows.
FISHERI’m not watching particular teams or particular players at this point,” Fisher said before the game. “I can’t remember the last time we didn’t have a game to prepare for ourselves. It’s an exciting time of year for basketball fans in general. But none of those guys [in college] can help us tonight
yeah I'm preparing my team to get blown out after the first quarter..
this guy is so clueless, while every knick fan on the planet is watching the torney, he's preparing for a worthless game. I hope he wakes up in a hurry

I think that youare forgetting the fact that his job is to coach the team?
He is not gonna ditch his team or bring an ipad to stream march madnes games on while his team is training or ina game.
That is Phills job not his.
Meeks isnt playing for nC--there goes my chances:(
Now the real deal starts
great great games tonight
every team has a legit chance to win their games--no underdogs all high seeds
WV will be an interesting match up vs Kentucky. They play 11 guys and press and trap all game. It will give Kentucky an opportunity to play full court but their guards better be prepared to handle the ball. WVU bigs are something like Cincys--they play rough but are undersized and I expect KY to dominate in the halfcourt once again The X factor is Juwan Staten--if he comes to play and WVU shocks KY out of the gate with their press--then its game on. If not--KY could easily blow them out. The direction of this game will be known in 5-6 minutes.
Man how can they start these marquee games after 10pm
Another plug for ballstreams. In addition to having all nba games in hd with a choice of home or away broadcast in hd they have the ncaa tournament in hd. Dropped hd from my cable package so watching anything not on cbs isn't that great.
Grant proving that he has the vision of a pg. Beautiful passing tonight thats leading to layups and open looks. Thats how you make your teammates better.

I feel you on the non HD. I do get all the major channels like Fox,nba, abc,& cbs without an HD pkg. I just have problems watching games on Espn or Tnt. I'm thinking about cutting the cord and looking into sling tv. You get espn and espn2 plus some other channels for $20. They have some more pkg that will push it up another $5 a month but sling plus an attena will cover a lot of sporting evens.
Hopefully I read up on how to turn my 2002 pc into a hype.
Kaminsky is a really good team player but his team is shooting bricks, UNC will win this.

Ballstreams for 6 months is $60.00 or $89.00 for 12 months. You can freeze your subscription and everything is in hd (720p). I streamed using other methods and I am very frugal but I can't say enough good things about Ballstreams. Also, the combination of work being more hectic and the Knicks being really bad has prevented me from watching other teams as much as I normally would. I can't get the Knicks on league pass where I live and I also am in this weird location where I don't get msg 2 and have the Knicks blacked out for the Sabres so this was a great solution for me.
Decker is having a great game.
