This forum is for us to discuss the Knicks (past, present and future), including possible disagreements. We all want to have a team we can enjoy and love and support. We're not here to support you through your crying and backhanded scapegoating.
Leave if you want. Or stay. Who really cares?
The only thing of value any of us brings here are our insights into the team we love. And from what I can tell, Nixluva contributes a ton in that regard, and I agree with his observations more often than not.
You on the other hand, seem to be an attention whore. I don't have much respect for that sort of thing.

I can respect Nix's dedication and passion even though he is overly optimistic. I can't appreciate obnoxiousness and diva-like behavior even though I can trend toward that territory if unchecked.

Yeah, I tend to be more on the Splat side than the nix side of things really. But I don't have much of a problem with nix, he makes good points but Splat sees the reality of things
I don't bother to read most of Nix posts. They are usually long and I already know what he is thinking. But you just let him do his thing. He is not hurting anyone. That's why Splat should just back off and yes I do enjoying reading Splat's post when he is not getting into with Nix. Splat is making a big deal out of nothing. The mods have simply asked him multiple times to cut it out of with Nix and the flame just kept burning. Splat takes things the wrong way. I hope Splat thinks about this and comes back with a clear head and on his best behavior so he can get back to being a contributing member of the best Knick form around again

I've only been a passerby on this board in recent months, so I'm completely unaware of this Nix-Splat beef and what precipitated it. My opinions of Splat are based exclusively on my interactions with him and his post content. He seems more troll than anything else, which is why he's been on my ignore list since he has gotten here. The fact that he seems to garner such strong reactions among other people makes me believe that I might've been correct in that assessment. I don't agree of Nix's optimism (I'm as big a curmudgeon as they come) but at least the guy keeps it basketball and keeps it respectful.
That being said, I don't care if Splat stays or goes. Either way, he'll stay on my ignore list. But the ego and sanctimony he expressed in this thread definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Same deal when EnySpree did the same thing after getting pissy for being proven wrong.

its hard to ignore when he jumps on each post with the same rhetoric even if its not addressed to him and he already said his piece.
He feels that he is the defender of the regime and anyone who has something negative to say must face his wrath.
I agree that Nix means well but he crosses the line too often as well but its accepted because its optimism.
All negative is not cool.
All optimistic ain't cool either.
Nobody wants either one of these jammed down their throats.

I just don't see a solution other to ignore them. You can't repremand someone for sugarcoating everything.
Splat would've been fine with his negativity but it got personal between him and Nix and it went on for too long

Check the JR Smith being better with Lebron that Melo and the Woodson thread about Chandler...I saw it late last night; Teamball called him out and he refused to respond so I left it alone...
