His point was that he knows that going after posters (e.g. Nix) is not allowed by the mods (with reason) and that he needs to go after him because he needs to call him out for perceived stupidity and if that means that he gets nuked or banned or neither then he will have to pay that price.

I toned it down because it was too much one on one stuff on a Knicks fan site where people come to enjoy knock stuff. Instead it turned into "I don't like you" because all you see is the good in everything. LMAO

I believe that SPlat created multiple Drama Queen exit threads which is amazing considering the short time he's been here. In between his multiple "quitting" he was good at sophomoric Jpegs, middle school humor and stalking / bullying Nix for a couple months. Kudos to Splat for conning all you guys who are sad to see him go.

As a long time lurker I can't lie I'm a tiny bit bothered that Splat cost the board ENY. I was just coming around on Splat too. In between him trying to correct others thinking he made solid points.

This is a great move on the part of Splat and I applaud him for recognizing that he currently lacks the ability to interact with others in a respectful and courteous manner. Removing himself from the forum is the most mature and thoughtful thing I've seen him do, and he deserves praise for it.

Jim Dolan had his problems at one time as well. He was once dependent on drugs and alcohol, but he quit. He is a great example to us all to know when to step away from the things that we can't handle.

One poster's "lynching" thread inspired by hate made Splat strong, while the unconditional "Pure Knicks Love" of another poster does Spat in.

Splat is a poorly compensated narcissist with poor impulse control. His points have more than once been poorly thought out, but its his odd demeanor, the grandiosity coupled with his disingenuous self-awareness, which make him so unlikeable it doesn't really matter what he is saying. It's probably in his best interest to seek counseling/group therapy to re-orient the priorities in his interactions.

This is a really funny and interesting thread. Who'd a thought? GJ Splat. If you come back, make sure to ask for another nuking. It really helps the rest of us pass the time until draft day.
