Caught a few minutes of the 2002 (I think) of the Mcdonalds HS all american game. Felton, Melo and JJ reddick of note.

Melo made a great bounce pass into the paint in the opening minutes. Funny to see all those guys all 17 and not yet filled out.
Melo was said to have been shooting 39& from 3 pt which was noted beause he was 6-7 and just 17.

Amazing how many names I did not recognize. Game was in MSG.

There was a different one on earlier - with kevin Love, Oj Mayo, Blake Griffin....like little pups.

When you're an old guy & you remember guys coming into the league 25 years ago....it just shows you're old.

Speaking of classic..Last night on NBA TV i watch MJ's 69 point perfermance against the Cavs back in 1990. I watched more so to see exactly how they ran the triangle, and the one thing i realize, he took a hell of a lot of mid range jumpers, and made almost all of them. some how the shot didn't look like he was settlieng for that shot, it was what the defense gave him, and when they started defending him tighter, he was athletic and smart enough to adjust.

It was crazy to see how many shots he took from melo's favorite spot on the floor..
