Why all the excuse making for Kentucky? They got beat by a better more developed team. I think we all knew that Kentucky was good but their bigs were never challenged by another big team all season long. Calipari was to busy chasing the championship instead of presenting challenges for his bigs and his team in general to be better prepared for this challenge.

nobody is saying wisconsin isnt a good team or that they couldnt beat kentucky. However kentucky definetly blew it with consecutive bonehead possessions and plays

Of the 4 teams they were the most talented but also the worst prepared team. All seasoning they played teams that just didn't match up well with them. They didn't blow this game Wisconsin was just a better team. You don't think Wisconsin didn't have bone beaded plays, they bad their share too. The biggest reason that they lost was their bigs were neutralized the flying around aspect was taken away on defense. I do think that Calipari isn't a great coach just a good recruiter.

So infuriated with Calipari.

Coach Cal has never been a elite in game coach. He's lost several big games because of poor decisions.....Lats night, up 4, how do you not pound the ball inside to Towns? Instead they get a shot clock violation? Then he calls a time out with 11 seconds left and Harrison hoists up a 30 footer? Awesome salesman/recruiter...very good coach but he's on a level below the elite; Coach K, Calhoun, Izzo, Ryan, Pitino, etc....

I agree with this 100%. I would also add good motivator

Kentucky came undone. They are TOO talented and the roles were not clearly defined. Sure they had some close games along the way but the team was just stacked.

Wisconson was dogged tired with 6 min to go and the "flagrant" timeout gave them a breather. 'Cats had them on the ropes but could not put them away. Wisc had an extra reserve that Notre Dame could not find. Badgers simply played looser and started to make shots. They should have run an offense where they kicked out to booker and let the kid shoot. Instead they let the Harrison boys penetrate but they just did not space the court. Stein could be left alone, and Wisc clogged the middle.

Its a Tournament. kentucky is the no. 1 team in the country and in a series they take them 4-2. But its not a series so we enjoy whats left. I like both teams. One of my best friends is Alum for Wisc and Im a long time Duke admirer.

I love the ball movement by Wisconson and the grit they showed. Duke pisses off the legions of UNC fans in North Carolina when they succeed and that its been a more successful program in the post Dean Smith Era's.

Some really good points here but i respectfully disagree with driving and kicking to Booker down the stretch of the game. Towns was the obvious advantage tha UK had and he didnt touch the ball the last 4 mins of the game save for 2 offensive rebounds. Up 4pts, Kentucky decided to stall the ball and run down the clock. Once i got under 10 seconds, they went with a 1 high 4 low offensive set with Harrison going one on one. He shot an air ball the first time then a shot clock violation the second time.

Its okay to stall the clock, but at the end, you go to you advantage and pound it inside to Towns. He was getting deep position in the paint all night. He was either going to get a great look or get fouled.

What calipari did is what hes done all year. He yanks towns in and out of the lineup. Hes talked up the harrison brothers all year about attacking the rim. The harrison brothers were the vets on the team and coach trust them over a rookie. This is why you cant project how a kentucky player will be at the next level. With kentucky players due to coach calipari. ..its like rolling the dice. The nba is a chance for these guys to open their wings. ....Towns is better than you see under coach cal. Along with the other players....
