The dude holds the ball like a QB waiting for a WR (guard) to get open when he's doubled. Or he just beats you. Phil also knows he can build an offense around OK4/Melo very quickly. Fill the roster with Galloway, Demarre Carrol, Thanasis, LAnce Thomas, types.. guys who will hit the 3 and play down and dirty defense. His Rodmans.

When we first heard that the Knicks had done a lot of scouting at KU practices, I figured they were doing it to get a better look at Towns.
Then I thought they might actually be doing it for Stein, who had such a limited role in the KU offense that you needed to see those practices to find out if he could actually do more than what he showed in games.
He showed me a few isolated things which made me think he had more to his game than what we were seeing, but in the end, I felt he was a disappointment, and even with all his physical ability, you never saw him give any hint of being able to take control of a game for more than a few plays.
If we could get two 1st Rnd picks, I could see taking Stein, if only because of his defensive ability, but if he is our only pick, I won't be very happy, and if Stein and Monroe are the key components of the master plan, Phil will have a long way to go before this team is a winner.
WCS is probably the new Jared Jeffries- there is no way in hell we will draft him with a top 4 pick.

Oka4 is 19 years old and has a skill set at his age we just don't see very often. In college he got double and triple teamed. What happened? He did not have some great games. Then what happened? His team won a a national championship. We lose sight of that? Dude became a decoy and when it opened it up he did great. If he can pass it out and identify when his lanes are shut (something Stat never was asked to do until later)he'll be great. Stein is a curious player. That team was just so stacked one has to wonder how good he really is.
