I'm a big fight fan..Well at least used to be...The sport doesn't have the fighters to keep my interest anymore...But this fight is what I've been waiting for..I'm cutting back on my cable options, slimming down my channel lineup but may have to lay out the green for this one...$100.00 PPV...Let's get it on!!..
nyk4ever@ 5/2/2015 11:30 AM

Yeah, also rooting for Manny to win. I have Mayweather as a big favorite, with the disparity getting worse in the later rounds. Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised with a Mayweather knockout win in rounds 10-12.

Ive noticed! Im moving to Seattle in a couple of weeks, wasnt planning on the extra expense, but I never miss a fight this big. The Klitchko brothers put the heavyweight division into a collective coma, nice to see a fight with real hype for a change, at any weight class.
Rooting for Pacquiao.

Not going to watch it, but I'm rooting for Pacquiao (see below, though). Like some have said, though, I don't think he'll win. Mayweather is a great tactician and counter fighter, and although I don't want to say it, I think he will win.
Heard Teddy Atlas (or was it Rooney?), I think, on the radio the other day. He really makes me think that Pacquiao was juicing when he was younger, and this would make me totally indifferent to this fight, if true. Atlas believed he saw an entirely different fighter in terms of physique, years ago. Could be age, but Atlas seemed pretty adamant about his feelings on the juicing.
Pacquiao has always seemed like a high character guy to me, much more so than Mayweather, but if he was on PEDs all those years (Didn't he refuse to agree to testing for a Mayweather fight?) I would have a totally different feeling about rooting for him.

Ron, I use this site through playon. Not sure if there are any issues watching it directly through your p.c. but they have it listed in their guide for events streaming tonight. http://coolsport.biz/

Thanks Crush, got to root for the underdog and the better human being vs arrogant/racist/woman beater Champ
EwingsGlass@ 5/2/2015 2:13 PM
Mayweather. I think most people WANT PacMan to win, but I think 5 inches of reach is a lot to give up, even for a southpaw.

I really want to see Manny press Floyd to see what he is made of..Not sure of you saw Floyd vs. Ricky Hatton..I thought Hatton pressed him until he Floyd took it to the next level stopped Hatton..I'm hoping for one for the memories..

Sorry fellas I respect what Floyd M., done historically But I am pickings Manny I don't like Floyd or his yearn for glorifying being bad, disrespecting Ali and Sugar.Ray Robinson legacy
Also Floyd dissed, fact he cannot read cause he is rich $$$$ and its more vital for him to boast and gloat than learning younger folks power of education
I want Floyd to be beaten He will lose one day even if not tonight

Mayweather's ring generalship and skills are beyond compare in this generation. Maywether by UD...
holfresh@ 5/2/2015 8:25 PM
This is the most physically ripped I have ever seen Floyd..Is he in this type of shape because he is compensating for some thing else??..Time will tell...
GustavBahler@ 5/2/2015 8:36 PM
Read a stat that says that Mayweather threw the the third least punches per round (40) of any fighter over the last few years. Good opportunity for Manny to outpoint Floyd. Just hope it isnt a controversial decision, if there is one.

Mayweather may throw less punches than his opponents but he still connects more than they do. His connect % is ridiculous. And most punches thrown at him are off the shoulders, glancing blows or straight misses...

Interesting, thanks for the info. Havent watched Mayweather in a long while, been waiting for this fight. Last Pacquiao fight I watched was against Bradley, better not be another decision like that.
