Knicks · Wow. The Knicks are sending Steve Mills to the lottery podium. (page 1)

This just strikes me as bad juju. Phil Jackson should be there, for a lot of reasons.

It's actually embarrassing.

Patrick Ewing should be up there, 30 year anniversary of the Knicks getting the number one pick. It's so easy to do the right thing.

nixluva @ 5/14/2015 2:06 PM
I would've preferred a player like John Starks.
BRIGGS @ 5/14/2015 2:07 PM
Are you guys kidding me--we shouldve sent that Cavs owner's little kid.

You mean for his employer, the Hornets, right?

At least they didn't send Isiah. Though I'm sure the thought crossed Dolan's warped mind.

Isiah dressed as drag queen!!!

Dolan should just go himself and take a dump on the stage.
smackeddog @ 5/14/2015 2:17 PM
He'll be sat there gurning our way to victory

LMAO, good one Briggs. Should have been a member of the DeBusschere family. Talk about a bad omen.

Isaiah is busy tuesday making dinner for the Liberty girls at his house.

No hot daughters of new owners?
No cute little kids?
No clyde.

Knicks should have sent the guy that went to every game this year!

Debusscere was the GM that won our lotto pick. Mills is our GM. Makes sense.

Mark Warkentein

Naw........

Sellout spike?

My vote goes for Michelle Rodrigez and Cara Delevingne to get wasted and represent!

knicks1248 @ 5/14/2015 4:34 PM

to put Ewing up there they'd have to, you know, hire him.

RonRon @ 5/14/2015 5:31 PM
I wouldn't mind bringing back Ewing as a development coach if we selected a BIG like OK4, bring him home, forget the past and that freaking trade that screwed us!

Seriously though, Ewing was very good player that these young guys probably do not even know about or willining to pay attention of how he played and what he did well prior to his decline
Well Town's can shoot and Ewing was one of the best mid range shooting Centers of all time with the ability to actual finish before he got old and declined, with SOLID DEFENSE even versus Shaq in his prime in Orlando

IMO,
I think Lamarcus Aldrige could be a similiar player to what to expect out of the development of Towns
Consider Town's size/length/ability to shoot and he will need to get stronger and fill out his body first, but I do not want to sacrifice his mobility/athleticism for size/strength
There are other ways to get stronger without losing that, while adding explosivness and skills as well
I do not know how Noah did it but we should find out if we get a TOP 2 pick, as Noah is the only player I have seen that went from a role player that just rebounded/block shots while getting BIGGER/STRONGER/MORE ATHLETITIC/QUICKER/ and improved all area's of his game

It really doesn't happen much and we should credit his worth ethic, the mentors for him, along with the traininers/development staff
I really want to bring back Rasheed Wallace and Billups
Even Jeremaine Oneil and/or Bynum as well *development coach* though they probalby both could still play and for a vet min and unguaranteed, I would do it for a mentor and then continue to keep them for development coaches after....

Ben Wallace if we draft a WCS type or Montrozz, whatever his name is off Louiville, a Ben Wallace type PF/C along with THabeet that Briggs suggest

OK4 has some red FLAGS but I do think they are fixable, while he will get in better NBA shape and improve that work ethic/motor/along with leadership to go with DEFENSE/communiciating to anchor the DEFENSE
He must play Center, where as Towns, could play PF and Center

OK4 simply doesn't have the mobility Towns could have to allow him to play PF along with a longer distance shooting ability that Towns already has
OK4's big BUTT and knows how to use it, along with the rest of his body, to get position, read defense on how to get ball, which Duke actually runs a bit of Triangle's philosophy for him

I think we will be drafting some of Kentucky players or signing them as UFA, with late 2nd rounders or mid, with the Harrison brothers, hopefully Aaron, being our PG/SG's for development
They might get the Thanasis treatment, play a year in the D League first to understand the Triangle a bit, maybe 1/2 season, then bring them over if we are able to make some moves to clear salary/roster spots

I do not believe went to so many games/practices or whatever for just Towns alone and the brothers would fill a need and what Phil Jackson has liked in the past, BIG PG's that play DEFENSE, while being cheap, and low cost/risk, Aaron Harrison was quite clutch as well

No doubt in my mind who should go up...Bill Bradley. Played on the front line with DeBusschere and Jackson.

On the bizarre side, I'd also considere Spike Lee, or maybe Rosie Perez.

Send the coach.......

Mark Jackson and Rick Fox?? That team could totally beat the 14-15 Knicks.
