I don't blame Okafor for wanting NY. You're 19 and looking for the best place to establish your career. New York is a great city to be the big dog. Outside of LA, NY is it. LA is a mess right now internally and Phil is here in NY. Some people on this forum may not respect Phil, but if you were a kid, his agent and his parents looking for a man to believe in there are only a few in the NBA who have the rep. Riley, Popovich and Phil. The New York market puts it over the top.

Man that video was awkward (he looked very uncomfortable), but he absolutely wants us over Philly. He looks very thin- I think he could actually do with adding a little more muscle.

Frankly the Knicks is the ideal place for a young top 3 pick to come and play. We have Melo already so...no pressure!
