That's awesome value at 12. If this is how the actual draft goes than Utah would be doing backflips.

Vcoug--this draft will be nearly impossible to project. Im not even sure who pick #1 is going to be

Assuming the first 3 picks are Towns, Okafor, and Russell in some order you could give me a hundred different variations for picks 4-15 and I think all of them could be what happens on draft night.

Yeah cause 1 guy projected lower could come up easily like in this mock.

I was curious at how we did with last years draft game compared to the actual draft. Pretty interesting.

http://www.nbadraft.net/2014-actual-draf...

A couple of surprises.

Also..UK thought Early was a 1st round talent.

I can't believe I selected Embiid with the #1 pick. I feel like Portland.

CrushAlot @ 5/28/2015 5:23 PM
The Atlanta Hawks select Sam Dekker.
CrushAlot @ 5/28/2015 5:25 PM
Analysis-Hoping a big dropped. Really would have liked to grab Turner. Dekker should be a really good pro and provides insurance if Kyle Korver struggles to get back after surgery or if Carrol leaves.

Porzingis went at pick #13 last year in your draft...

I had Philly and Toronto last year. I think Porzingis dropped out last minute but that was a nice pick.

By far and away NYKbocker won that last year with his Houston picks and i think Vmart picking Zach lavine 7th was 1b.

do we have a draft selection tally so far?

Go to the first page of the thread. I believe Briggs edits his post each time a selection is made so that it is updated.
FistOfOakley @ 5/28/2015 10:56 PM
hey briggs.. can you keep the usernames for each pick...

BRIGGS @ 5/29/2015 12:12 AM
Last years draft strategy for me was pretty simple--there was a large supply of VERY athletic players that were going into rd 2 and there was no chance that they would not.

For Toronto I walked out with Payton at 21 K J McDaniels at 34 and Jahii Carson at 59 obviously you need to wait 3-5 years to get a true barometer but I wouldve given that one an A- definitely a score.I was looking for perimeter defense for Toronto and by gosh Payton just fell.

For Philadelphia I knew that I could get Nurkic at 10 and I did and that to me made it atleast a B+ even if I sht the bed in rd 2 Jabari Parker pick doesnt count because it was too obvious. In rd 2 like this year I had 5 picks so my goal was to find athletic role players at each position and I knew my last pick was going to be Bahcinksyi at 55. I had a huge lull from pick 10 to 32 and I was somewhat suprised big dog jr was there and even more surprised that he was my worst pick of that day(so far) the other picks to me were good Markel Brown who showed a lot of promise with the Nets along with Cory Jefferson and then what I thought was a high quality 2nd or 3rd PG in Smith and he still could be. I wanted the third C to finish whether I sent him off to play overseas or whatever didnt matter because I was going to have Nurkic at C Noel at PF Parker at SF to grow together. The goal was to get 2-3 of the 5 players to make the NBA and contribute well and I think I got that. I think I also have some upside with jefferson.

This years draft is SOO much different. It has MANY more skill and or higher end players and I think you could find some stars in rd 2 while a plethora of rd 1 players will hit well.

Big Daddy G selected Robert Upshaw C for the Celtics
callmened @ 5/29/2015 2:10 PM
With the 17th pick in the 2015 draft, the Milwaukee Bucks select Devin booker from kentucky.

I can't believe he last that long. Hell provide much need perimeter shooting for the bucks

EwingsGlass @ 5/29/2015 7:54 PM
With the 18th pick, the Houston Rockets retire Jason Terry and protect themselves from Patrick Beverley's possible departure by drafting Cameron Payne of Murray State. No parades are thrown as this is a safe pick for a role playing PG. Management continues to second guess whether they should have taken Trey Lyles instead.
BRIGGS @ 5/30/2015 8:49 AM
The next highest ranked player with a combined score of 27 is Kelly Oubre F Kansas for the Washington Wizards
