Is he a smarter buy than the C's on the market? Do we really want to marry any of these guys? This is not Bargnani at 4 years 48mm with draft picks or whatever--this is Bargnani at 3mm for unit 2. I think in the right place he can bring value at this cost---again I think he gets more form another team--but Ill keep this in play.

I think the emotional reaction is to say no. I think the smart thing to do is resign him.

Could he be an asset come mid season trade time if we re sign him on this type of $$$

We tried that this year- he got injured as usual

I have two reasons for not bringing him back (no matter the cost)

- Emotional explanation = he's a constant reminder of the old regime and horrible trade they made
- Logical explanation = hes always hurt and cant be relied on to play for a long period of time

Dear god, why. Please, no.
