4 games minutes 30 points 19.5 assists 3.5 rebounds 2.5 steals 2.5 blocks 1.1 fg% 60% 3 pt% 46 although did have a poor to ratio. This league looks better than the Chinese leagues
He may be a good player. But we would have to give up an asset to get another pick to grab him. And he could decide to stay over seas if he wanted.
Also no need to knock Mudiay. Mudiay at the Nike Hoops Summit which had players from Towns to OK4 to Russell to Winslow to Tyrus Jones etc etc... Mudiay was the best player on the court.
where is this fuzaro kid expected to be drafted?

Nbadraft.net has him going in the early 2nd round. Makes me wonder if there is some understanding that he'll be a draft and stash player because he's definitely got first round talent. I've had my eye on him for quite some time.
Hopefully we could buy a late first rounder to select him. IMO, Brooklyn is the kind of team that would sell their first rounder at 29th and I'd be more than happy to compensate them with cash. I think that the Celtics 28th and 33rd picks could also be in play if we agreed to take on Gerald Wallace's contract. It'd only be a $4 million cap hit if we decide to stretch his contract and getting those picks give us the option of trading up, if necessary. In particular, Dallas should be willing to move their 22nd pick for late picks that will help them save as much cap room as possible.
It's also possible that if the Rockets attempt to make a run at LaMarcus Aldridge, they'll move that 18th pick to help unload contracts that hey either don't want or need e.g. Kostas Papanikouloau (who I really like), Corey Brewer Pablo Prigioni and Joey Dorsey. That'd be a stretch though because the aforementioned players are all very capable and would interest most teams. It's a damn shame Milwaukee bought out Larry Sanders when they did because I would've taken his contract for their 17th pick and a future.
I hope the Knicks can buy an early second rounder for $3M and get a guy like this.
I wonder if we can trade Timmy Hardaway and include the $3M and get a late first rounder? Or early second rounder?
It depends what we do up top. If we take a pg then really no need to follow through here although he looks like he could be a nice 6 th man as well. An aggressive athletic perimeter defender with size ambidextrous ballhandling abilities a nice jump shot and Good passer. I think you get a lot for. A Decent price.

We need all the talent we can get, even if it is redundant. Besides, with his skillset and size, I can easily imagine him being a 2 guard as well. He reminds me a tad of Manu Ginobili of yore and I'd be intrigued to see how he'd fair off the bench in that same role.

Very good question. I think the Nets would do it to be perfectly honest. I don't recall them having a backup SG anyway, so there is also a need.
I also suspect that the Warriors would be interested in moving their pick. They are deep as it is and have no need for another role player. Also, they stand to have an incredibly high payroll and might be willing to ditch it to avoid any outstanding luxury tax bill.

I wonder what kind of problem an ambidextrous PG is going to cause on drives??? I mean, you can't really prepare too much for that, seems like he could keep defenders off balance. Really a huge advantage, a bit like an ambidextrous pitcher...

There's no way Brooklyn will sell their 1st rounder. They're completely capped out and have no other way to add talent to that roster. They might be the only team in the league with a worse future than us.

No doubt Brooklyn desperately needs an infusion of talent and youth but does the 29th pick in the draft really address those concerns effectively. I can't imagine that those late picks yield too many success stories and judging by King's track record, I doubt he'd buck that trend. Mason Plumlee seems like an NBA player but that's about his only find.
Do you think they'd include the pick if we took Karasev's deal off their hands in exchange for $3 million and Tim Hardaway Jr?

No but they might consider moving it to a team willing to take on Johnson's 24 million dollar deal for a year. They also have a pretty early second round pick they might have to include. Stein said they will have to pay $2.50 for every dollar they are over the cap next year.
