he also declined wolves though too

I actually heard this about a 1 1/2 weeks ago and have screamed about it a few times in various posts.

Purely agent driven, and total BS, IMO, BUT, there is obviously a reason. I always wondered if he would "tank" a workout with Minny so they would trade out of 1 and take someone else.

OK4 has worked out with LA and I expect he will be at Minny at some point. There have been rumors that Saunders likes him more than Towns, which might be upsetting to OK4, who has been nice enough to say he doesn't care about being #1, and is probably quite happy going to LA.

ramadan?!?!?

The plot thickens...

Minnesota has a fairly good sized Islamic community, by the way.
stopstandthere @ 6/9/2015 9:27 PM
He better declines all the work out and let the Knicks pick him.

Yes and tomorrow morning Flip Saunders will awaken to find a severed horse head at the foot of his bed.

With LA, Philly, and NYC next in line after Minny, this is becoming a draft where the best players can humbly say that it is unimportant that they be picked #1.

Towns desperately wants to be a Knick. Man, I wish we had the ammo to make it so.

Ah geez...not again.

My retort has always been- you can't blame the coach or players in those final games.

You can blame Anthony for wanting to play as long as he did, and Phil for not putting his foot down and shutting him down.

One was selfish, the other weak.

You had a built in tanking excuse and you didn't take it.

I think we wouldve got the first pick if anthony played....seems like we lost more games with him in the lineup....he wouldve took over and THj wouldve been ice cold....waiting 3 quarters for melo to pass....

Thought someone put up a stat one time about the team being better with Anthony %-wise this year.

Yeah, Hardaway might be another guy who would do better with James, but THJ would be getting a lot of glares because of his D.

earthmansurfer @ 6/10/2015 2:38 AM
I like players being individuals (if that is indeed the case) and e.g., not working out for teams they don't want to play for.
Yeah, it will cost them money but instead of asking "What is more?" or "How much more can I get?", for now just ask "Where do I wanna play and how can I get there?"
These kids think money is often the end all, and when you are talking 5 million vs 7 million I just don't see that being a deciding factor at all.
Follow your bliss..

And yeah, it didn't work out for Stephen Curry (well sort of as he is in the finals but he wanted to be here) but the trend has to start somewhere.

smackeddog @ 6/10/2015 2:45 AM
He doesn't need to- if the Twolves don't take him, the Lakers will. As he'd rather be a Laker than a Twolf, I doubt he's sweating falling to 2.

You arent wrong. I understand players have pride BUT cnsidering the team was at the bottom of the standings it made no sense to act like the final 3 games were a playoff game lol. Fisher actually could have made his job in the future much easier by losing and claiming the top pick
GustavBahler @ 6/10/2015 8:59 AM
Seems like a lot more gamesmanship from the top draft picks in a while. Makes this draft even more unpredictable, really hard to say who will fall at 4. Could be a very pleasant surprise.

The Knicks had a worse record in games Anthony played in last season. They were better once he sat.
