This is a tough Market to put a kid like KrisP. We just don't do well with stumbling young talent. We have a tough time with less talented young players we already have. Imagine the pressure of this pick in NY trying to get it together for 2 or more years. It's just a really bad spot to put a long term project like KrisP. Those who think he can just come in and be OK are engaging in wishful thinking. The NBA is such a higher level than other leagues and this kid isn't all the way there for the Euro level, much less the NBA. He has great talent, but putting that all together enough to have an impact on the NBA level is tougher than some are making it out to be.
