6MM a year for Brandon Wright is a solid deal. Memphis having a nice offseason. He would have been a good guy to slide into the starting PF for us.

Looks like Pierce is off to the clippers.

with the MINI MLE type money vs more money that THE FULL MLE would allow Pierce to make
do not know if that suggest that DeAndre Jordan is a resigning with them or if they would be getting back pieces in a 3 team deal
This leaves them with some money that they could use to sign someone like Lin or Shved with about 3m IF Jordan walks

However, if they do take back some pieces they could still have some money left depending on what they would get back if a 3 team deal presents itself
Though they can still CUT Crawford with only a 2m cap hit as he has an unguaranteed salary

I believe their salary would have to be in the range of about 82m-83m in order to have about have the full MLE

We could have enough to sign 1 younger near max deal at about 14m and another higher max player at about 17.5m if we at least stretch Calderon and moved Early

for about 14m or a bit less

Greg Monroe

Ernes Kanter

Tobias Harris

Reggie Jackson

for 17.5m - about 20m starting salary
===========================================

LA
D Jordan

Marc Gasol *likely resigning with Memphis*, who already used their MLE to sign Brandon Wright, not sure if Gasol's deal if official though, in addition they can make a trade for Joe Johnson's expiring as well as Net's are looking to get younger and take back less salary

If we lose out on these Centers, maybe Roy Hibbert or Pekovic will come to play *as we would be asking for rights for Euro as well as other assets, depending on if they would take back Calderon*
Hopefully get Shabazz Muhmmud, maybe Budinger's *expiring* as Twovles are STACKED with young talent already, and also has Kevin Martin who they likely want to move

Would not be surprised if GS/Cavs/Clippers/ or and another team that could sign and sign/trade for both Monroe/LA/ and Jordan
While GS could get rid of Bogut or Lee while giving up 1 1st rounder, Cleveland uses Haywoods contract, and a team could sign/trade for 2/3 of these FA's

rest of other FA's include

UFA's
========

Lebron James
Wade *aka Flash or Kobe without the drama/ego if he gets a MAX 3-4year deal in the making*
LA/Jordan
Marc Gasol
Greg Monroe *a lot of teams can offer him a MAX deal, hope he at least gives us a heads up and chance to match offer though I think we need him to take a slight discount in order to be contenders by next summer for a play off spot as we look to improve our roster, like Orlando and they can still match Harris's offer/ Suns, Sun's *can sign LA as well*

Asik/Koufus
Ed Davis/Biyomobo

Josh Smith

Lavoy Allen/Serephin/Joel Freeland/Justin Hamilton
McGee/ Larry Sanders/ Andray Blatche

PF that Twolves on draft rights to but could force his way to New York, wondering who is leaking this though whether it is NY, the Euro's AGENT, or Twolves

Some players with TEAM OPTIONS not sure when they end
==================================================================

Randy Foye
Trevor Booker

Hollis Thompson and Isiah Cannon...many Sixers players

Hickson/ Wilson Chandler *likely to pick up and traded eventually, to the highest bidder*

Lester Hudson

ALSO there likely will be someone AMENSTIED and/or waived/stretched at some point, in which teams that are under the cap have bid first on claims that also go with their record

The REST OF THE KNICKS

Cole Aldrich

Lou Amundson

Lance Thomas

Ricky Ledo?? Not sure when we have to pick up his option

Acey/Larkin *think we can use them in sign and trades as we own their bird rights, if needed, along with Cole ALdrich, though we would need Cole Aldrich's early bird rights in order to have the FULL MLE if we do sign a major FA and make trades, as the market strinks, as well as AB in a sign and trade, that we could do with DeANdre Jordan or LA, as well as Greg Monroe

RFA's
========

Jae Crowder
Patrick Bevereley/Norris Cole
Will Barton
Kyle O Quin

Jeffery Taylor
Delly

Quincy Miller??

Ray Mcclaum???

Robbie Hummel/ Austin Daye
Jon Leur

some Utah's SG/SF's

Joe Ingles
Millsap
Grant Jarret *drafted by OKC*

Tim Frazier??
Mike Muscula? not sure if he is a RFA or not???

Also many teams that likely will try to get rid of salaries including Heat's players like Chris Anderson/Mario Chalmers for 1year rentals, in addition to David Lee and a 1st rounder, not sure if they would part with a future 1st rounder or keep Kevin Looney

And then D Leaguer's from a range of talents

Including Thabeet, Jared Cunningham, that were once lottery picks, and many other talents

Our summer league has some possible players as well, some of which are responsible from our scout in Europe that was high on KP that Phil Jackson has a lot of trust/faith in...

Is Marcus the more talented one of the twins?

They have $20mil in space I wonder if they either landed LA or about to offer a max for harris

smackeddog @ 7/2/2015 3:48 PM
To bias Harris was said to be interested in Celtics and Pistons, so I wonder where he ends up- likely magic will keep him

I think after missing on Millsap, they'll match any offer and trade him later if need be.
