Man this list is crazy
I agree with more than 1/2 but D-wade didn't make this list ? Lots of Future HOF'ers on this list.
JR Smith, KG, Carmelo, Kobe, Paul Pierce & Dwight 'lazy' Howard most are all expected.
I thought Melo had slightly better rep., than perceived. Show u how much I don't know.
Interesting NBA perceptions... on DailyDish
OR Dis-ssed !

In Anthony's freshman season, he led the Orangemen to their first ever National Championship and was named the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player
Anthony has been named an All-NBA Team member six times.
While playing for Denver, he led the Nuggets to the playoffs every year from 2004 to 2010, winning two division titles in that span. In 2009, Anthony led the Nuggets to their first Conference Finals appearance since 1985.
Anthony has been a member of the United States Olympic men's national team three times, winning a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics and gold medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. In 2012, Anthony set the USA men's Olympic team record for most points in a single game when he scored 37 points against Nigeria.

were talking about NBA success? Or overall brand?
Getting to the first round of the playoffs is not really successful ... but no need to go down this path again
That melo contract will go down as the worst day in Knicks history. At this point I would even consider giving up the 4th pick in exchange for a team willing to take on his contract. He's an anti social team destroyer.

Still think Amare Stout (I like him) contract $$$$
and h20 Allan Houston contracts was worst than Carmelo...
NY still has little hope here in few yrs & Melo still a knick
The Stout and Allan contracts put Negative spin into direction of Knicks
franchise teams thereafter.
The Knicks was good (Ewing era, post NYK Larry Johnson )
I know Allan was there for few Knicks Ewing elite teams
But the Allan huge contract $$$ coincided with the downfall in playoff appearances
since 2003 to present (only 1-2 playoffs?)

it does say most hated basketball players... not nba.
I'm not always one to push the belief that ny = hated by everyone else but I honestly don't remember Melo getting this much crap when he was in Denver. Maybe someone else does and can give me some insight.
JR on the other hand has carried his same reputation from being in NO. It just got worse once he got here and discovered twitter/instagram.
