Knicks · Berger suggesting the Nuggets if they have both the 6th and 7th pick might use it to trade for the knicks pick (page 4)

Maybe it happens that if Lakes go russell, Phill Kristaps then maybe the deal is 6&7 for oka4. Or Russell. Or maybe Kristaps. There are lots of deals contingent on a player drafted first.

If Denver really covets a guy and believes he is a can't miss prospect, they would do it instead of drafting two guys they are unsure about. The draft is about potential and perceived value. Let's say they really like Zinger and rank him as having the potential to be the next Dirk. There alternative might be to draft Winslow and WCS at 6/7 and they view these guys as having the potential of say Corey Maggette and Tyson Chandler. If it went down like this, who would you rather have?

I think Russell or OK4 being available would be the only reason someone would consider that deal. I think picks 4 - 7 are pretty interchangeable. If we were targeting Winslow, he might still be there at 7. Al. I know is that some one offers 6 and 7 for 4 in this draft, I do not care who is available at 4, I am taking that deal.

U can pick numerous pairs of players at 6&7 .....they will always be better than whoever is at 4. Towns might be the only exception.

thats not what i was saying, i dont care about the word rape. im saying, i don't think we'd be raping the kings in a trade if they are shopping cousins as hard as they are. i think cousins is a polarizing player in gm circles and many probably don't want the headache of dealing with him. the kings wont get a kings ransom for him.
