I think Phil would trade him for multiple assets....If he drops.

NBAdraft.net has been the most consistent out of all the mock drafts I have noticed in the past drafts...
I want to say that I've seen post draft articles comparing all of the different sites and writers and DraftExpress is always on top

Well they'd most likely have to give up their 2 to get him, and Sac would just replace OK4 with Cousins. Don't see that happening. Really wish it did though.
BRIGGS wrote:Done F deal were trading that pick. No Porzingis no Muiday No Hezonja were getting Trey F Lyles and an injured Nurkic Hezonja is a top 3 player in this draft. There will be stories about this blunder.
No Nurkic and Kaminsky? How about additional assets like our 2016 1st round pick? Its got to be more than a gimpy center and a slow footed, poor shooting power forward.

Well we will have to see for ourselves tomorrow night.

The rumor is Karl doesn't want that type of center fr his offense. The trade speculation does have Andle going to the kings.
Lol who the hell would they play at center then!? Sim freaking bhullar? Lmao hope you're right dude. I would love to get ok4

I have always liked draft net better but I prefer to read scouting reports. Not sure which is more accurate historically.

So would I at this point. Just gives me gut feeling he may be a bust long-term.

I don't think he will be an elite NBA player, but a solid starter for years. If you can get two solid starters for 1 solid starter, it's a no brainer. We need talent at multiple positions, because we have holes everywhere.
It would be ironic if we are taking Hezonja to trade to Denver...
June 21st at 8:50am CST by Arthur HillHere’s more draft news this morning from the Mile-High City:
Croatian guard Mario Hezonja would be a tempting choice for the Nuggets, Dempsey writes in a separate story, but he may not be available with pick No 7. Hezonja, a good friend of Denver center Jusuf Nurkic, has been quickly rising on draft boards as scouts rave about his elite shooting and athleticism. “I talk to him every day,” Nurkic said. “I think he’s at this age the best shooting guard.”
for his good friend, Nurkic.
I guess well see tomorrow.
Or... maybe we just take Mario. I see this guy's game and I see downside Klay Thompson and upside TMac.

too risky IMO. Either we get lucky and Russell/Okafor fall or we take Winslow/Mudiay.

I disagree. I think this kid is the real deal. 6'8 SG that wants to dunk on you and can NAIL threes. Only Uber-athlete in the top 5...all others are skill players. If he had more exposure or gave a single workout, we'd be talking about being stuck with Russell as consolation. This kid is a basketball machine. Cocky. That's all people say bad about him. Cocky isn't arrogant unless it comes from a place of insecurity. Otherwise it's just dominant. This kid will be the best player in this draft. You prefer Sam Bowie? Any downplay on Hezonja is merely that he is Euro. The kid can ball like anyone else. Better.

I very much doubt its a possibility. Drafting Euro players high is extremely risky its just the reality the past 10 years or so
All this talk of the Knicks taking Porzingis or Hezonja at 4 is a smokescreen designed to flush out a trade with a team who is enamored with them further down the lottery. I highly doubt the Knicks would pick either player considering their "project-ness", though out of the two I wouldn't be mad at Hezonja. I think he could be a pretty good wing in the NBA-super athletic, strokes the 3, 6'8", and most importantly he's got swagger. I think he more than Porsingis could end up being one of the best players down the line.
Not sure who caught "Knicks Now" last night on MSG at 10pm. They had an interview with Phil and I could have read into it that he is looking hard at Hezonja. He was asked about the foreign players and seeing them and said they have overseas scouts for Mudiay, Prozing, Hezonja, etc. He then went into it further referencing specifically there was a player who was still playing in the playoffs and they had a scout there and they skyped with him for an interview and as Phil said to make sure they were going down the right path.
I know it's reading really far in but it definitely caught my attention and then seeing the Draft Express update this morning it makes me think. It's all speculation and double talk now but again it just jumped out at me. I know it has been mentioned before questioning if the Knicks ever met with Hezonja at all.
Even if it is the deal with Denver, getting Nuric, who I think is a great addition if healthy and then Hezonja at 7.
Gives the Knicks a nice front line, C - Nuric, PF - Melo, SF - Hezonja and then maybe bring in a Beverly at point or KJ McDaniels. It removes the need for Monroe and opens up a lot of money.
If Russell is off the board my vote would be to make the deal with Denver if the doc's are good with Nuric and add two talented pieces that fit the triangle.
I know someone will ask for a link to the show or specific quote sorry.

you keep saying that and your just not accurate. Taking a guy who went from high school to China is less risky? Drafting a SG who played PF is less risky? Makes zero sense.
Here's an article to read:

international prospect fair better or as good as NCAA prospects.

A cocky 6'8 shooting guard with a killer shot, sick athleticism and a two way player... yea, not a clue why Phil would like a guy like that. Those types never thrive on Phil Jackson teams

I think most of the trade stuff is 95% noise. At 4 he can just take the BPA and Mario can 100% be that guy. We are working with such limited data. The 10% of the picture we have is only 65% accurate. Just have to chill and let it play out
