I second that. Come on BRIGGS, record yo'self!

Obviously that's where all of us are. Just trying to see what people would predict 8 hours before the draft.
I'm starting to have a decent feeling that OK4 or Russell can fall in our laps.

From your mouth to Gods ears....but I think there's a better chance Russell gets drafted 2nd than slip to 4. Ok4 is a better possibility but I think Philly takes him or someone jumps in front of us and snatches Ok4 up if he slips to 3. Sigh...the day in the life of the Knicks
Draft hype usually leaves us with an empty feeling.
Mundiay, Kristaps or Winslow are good players to have, but the hype and hope is just too high.
Minny has not stated what they are doing and thus Lakers won't say a thing.
Russell (if available), Mudiay otherwise. Book it!

I have actually never felt more nervous and unsure about anything related to the Knicks. Chances for disappointment run high!
Can you imagine that we walk out of the draft with a hurt player and Trey Lyles? The negativity will be so high that it will just create another vacuum for the kNicks. You dont trade down in drafts unless the deal is too good to be true. I mean TOO GOOD to be true. We should learn our lesson about trading draft picks for hurt players.
Knicks fans will boo at the draft almost no matter who we pick cause that's just the normal and most of the fans that go to the draft don't do the type of research that most on here do so they just don't know as much about as many players as we do. Lets use Porzingis as a example. If we drafted him at 4 they would boo the pick at the draft but Porzingis isn't a pick that should be booed and they would boo Henzonja as well. If we don't pick OK4,Towns,Russell or Mudiay i think most will boo at the draft.

Im very fearful. Im starting to hope that Russell goes 2 and a team comes up and takes Hezonja 3 leaving us with Okafor at 4. Lets see the Knicks justify not taking Okafor.
Supposedly the Celtics already have a deal in place with Philly if OK4 is there at 3.
So my guess is a trade down.
I can deal with trading down for a vet and a pick depending on the vet. Just worried that the vet turns out to be another dime a dozen retread. We have the cap space to go after FAs, enough prospects available at 4 to make the pick.

He slipped to 13 on ESPN mock draft.

Chad Ford is still projecting him as the second best player in the draft and saying the Lakers should take him 2nd. LOL, he's terrible.

Wouldnt mind Hezonga, reminds me of Drazen Petrovic.
i still think it's probably russell, mudiay or winslow...
but i haven't been so uncomfortable with the potential names that are connected to the pick in my life...

agree with the second part so much.
porzingis, kaminsky, lyles... just all feel like disasters with this pick.
I am hoping for Russell. Beyond that, I am ok with Porzingis or Okafor or Mudiay but might prefer a trade down that nets them 2 picks in the top 15 or 1 pick plus a starter.
The most important thing is to accumulate talent as cheaply as possible without hurting the cap flexibility too much.
certainly going to be interesting... i just cannot possibly see them going totally off the board with someone like kaminsky or lyles... and i think all the lyles talk was him going 8 for 10 in that arkansas game that jackson attended... kaminsky also has jackson ties through his parents... pretty sure it's just the media trolling the knick fanbase for attention...
if the stein workout and health rumors are true i'm pretty sure he's off the board at this point...
russell is definitely up there and will get picked if he's there.. pretty sure we all know this... i think the same can be said for okafor but not entirely positive...
porzingis looked a bit uncomfortable when someone asked him how his sitdown with phil and the triangle went... it seemed like that didn't go too well so i'm thinking he's out.. but possibly still in the mix...
that leaves mudiay and winslow... not much has been talked about with these guys and they were the first two to workout for the knicks... which leads me to believe they are picking between them...
