Hmm really? I like it if the contract isn't too high.

Fully support that move. I think I read somewhere that the plan was both West and Monroe.

If there is any kind of assurance of this, it means Phil wants to go into a win/now mode and that means no Porzingis.
GustavBahler @ 6/25/2015 7:42 PM
Will add some attitude to this team.

I would love to get D.West. He would be perfect playing next to Monroe.

We're picking Mudiay if we stay at 4.

newyorker4ever @ 6/25/2015 7:49 PM
Mudiay
THJ/Gallo
Melo
D.West
G.Monroe
That's a good team to start with.

Naw if anything it means we'd have a good infrastructure in pace to bring OK4 or KrisP.
WAKEUPKNICKS2015 @ 6/25/2015 7:50 PM
Someone not afraid to check melo. Will keep team together, do things Fisher can't. Like it.
newyorknewyork @ 6/25/2015 8:07 PM
West-Monroe-Zinger??
RonRon @ 6/25/2015 8:09 PM
would rather go for Mike Muscula unless West comes in a huge discount, a bit too old
Gotta keep an eye how Atlanta will spend their money this summer, if we should do a poison pill

That is a lot of front court support for one off season. Do we still push Monroe?

You were right. They might even let him play center every now and then.

I think they saw more from Porzingis in the "aborted" workout than we were told.

yellowboy90 @ 6/25/2015 8:25 PM
Well you do not opt out of 10m to take less. Oh well at least he won't pull Melo's shoulder out.
callmened @ 6/25/2015 8:49 PM
typical knick move of acquiring a past his prime mid 30s player with maybe a few good yrs left
newyorknewyork @ 6/25/2015 8:52 PM
The signing would most likely be with a plan for 2016.
callmened @ 6/25/2015 8:58 PM
yeah a short contract

Seriously, what's the attraction there? Start building a young team that can come together and sustain for awhile...
