We all had our favorites but in the end we weren't at the workouts or interviews and we didn't have access to all the inside info from scouts who saw the guys play. I support the Pick based on what Phil said about what he felt was Kris's upside.

Just cause Kristaps Porzingis wowed NY in interview and with upside
who cares if this kid cannot be a superstar in NBA.

That's what its all about. He may be very good, he may be a BUST.
there is no guarantees with most of these unknown international prospects.

Knicks had alot of information from other USA school stars and passed on that
to select some international 1 year wonder, thin as a rail, will be tested in NBA and toughness the USA college
stars will develop cant be understated.

This pick will turn into a very sorry selection at #4th pick just like historically done by NewYork.

Great pick and love that Phil is swinging for the fences. Our section had some cheers and we did what we could to negate some of the boos but it was definitely a bloodbath...

This is a guard league with only 1 guy above guards & best in NBA that's Lebron James.

Knicks has NO Guards to my knowledge. Unless the 7 foot 2 is going to play develop all 5 spots on
floor 1,2,3,4,5 then I must be seriously missing something cause this Kid has a way to go before

We need to get with a script of successful blueprint of teams winning and built toward nba playoffs competion

We're all concerned with terms Triangle, Phil's philosophy and right players for the old system.
No adaptation for anything current in 2015 or future OR nor toward current skillsets of kids here coming
into younger NBA.

I wanted WCS for his D but Kris has a lot of physical talent too. He's also quick and long and can block shots. He has good lateral quickness too. I don't expect him to be on the level of WCS but in time he can mature and learn how to defend at a good level using his great length. 7'2" with a 7'6" wingspan is legit size for a rim protector. He's already a decent help defender. He could develop into a great 2 way player.

Phil is gonna put the kid in situations where he can succeed. He's got talent and heart. Hopefully they can bring him along at a pace he can handle. He can contribute even now in a limited role.
