RonRon @ 6/25/2015 8:15 PM
At least not pick 4, I do not mind him one bit along with Frank Kaminski, just not at pick 4
StarksEwing1 @ 6/25/2015 8:15 PM
Id rather have stein. This kid is a project and lets face it most euros who are lottery picks never work out
mreinman @ 6/25/2015 8:15 PM
93% briggs

I am sure that he will now blame an injury just like he does every time he is wrong

WAKEUPKNICKS2015 @ 6/25/2015 8:16 PM
Lol Briggs was wrong about all 45 of his predictions
MaTT4281 @ 6/25/2015 8:16 PM
I had a nightmare a few weeks back about us taking Stein. I'm much happier tonight.
mreinman @ 6/25/2015 8:17 PM

my bad, the 2% hit, a freaking 1 outer on the RIVER!

I really like Bobby Portis if he drops to a pick that is available and would get Jermaine Oneil to mentor him with Rasheed Wallace on KP, Billups/Ron Harper Galloway/PG

Man the Kings are gonna be so much better than the Knicks next year.

If they can get rid of Gay and sort out Cousins then defintely.

Before the lottery I had a nightmare we fell to 5. Didnt get to 5, but that nightmare ended up being a prophecy.

Well Cousins's will leave sooner or later, so he will eventually get traded or Karl will get fired and get FREE MONEY with the news leaked...

most teams will. Hey it gets better denver or toronto get our lottery pick too. Thats ok bargs we drafted your replacement
WaltLongmire @ 6/25/2015 8:21 PM
Stein is Cousin's boy.

That is the best sign that its Cousin's team.

Wonder how Karl deals with things.

I actually believe it is the perfect fit for Stein as a player- he will play the same role he's been playing the last 3 years.

Orlando would have been another good fit, though I read something about them not liking him because of some analytics stuff.

I'm just trusting that Phil and his staff made the right choice after seeing all the players up close. It's almost impossible to know what they saw and learned about the players after spending time working them out and talking to them. I loved WCS for this team but KrisP could be a great player one day if he continues to develop. He already has a lot of talent but now we have to hope Phil and his staff were right about KrisP. They could've taken WCS and passed so they saw something that made them believe in KrisP. I've gotta respect that.

I really really believe he saw a lot more in that "aborted" workout than we were led to believe. It was clearly a gamesmanship thing and a message to Hinkie. Porzingis only visited LA, NY, and Orlando, and I'm not sure he worked out with Orlando. Did not want to go to Philly.

I really thought we would trade down and go with Kaminsky.

I feel good for all the top 6 picks except OK4, who is probably crushed, since he was a Lakers fan. Wonder if he gets traded.

We need ALL STARS and DEFENSE

You can find DEFENSE elsewhere, YOU CAN NOT FIND ALL STARS on rookie deals and it may take 1-3 seasons but I believe he will get there
I find his comments genuine and NOT practiced/rehearsed with powerhouse agents like CAA or other agents about wanting to practice, not being a soft Euro, and WANTING TO BE A KNICK

For instance, trade Calderon, which would COST us right now, but not much as he becomes closer to an expiring, maybe at the deadline, but if we are able to do it today and the trades below with...
Tim Hardaway, Early, and maybe even Shved for acquire assets

That would give us under 40m to spend that we could use for DeAndre Jordan and maybe Danny Green/Wesley Matthews/Carroll
