Knicks · Still have faith in Phil??.. (page 1)

RonRon @ 6/25/2015 8:51 PM
too early to evaluate but I like the pick
KP allows us to play BIG or SMALL, so I like the flexibility

Also really like Thanasis, not so big on Early though

OK4 could be a blessing in disguise, though he would have been a great for the Triangle
He does lack foot speed/mobility/FT's/shot blocking/defense/conditioning
For his weakness's you need to find someone like KP to fit OK4 strenghts, to spread the floor, and DEFEND/REBOUND/BLOCK SHOTS

I think he could improve however, I hate Philly so nothing against OK4, but I hope their LOSING MENTALITY will be contagious with Noel/EMbid/OK4/WROTEN not complimenting each other

Dario Saric, who they stashed no longer has to sign with a rookie scale salary and has leverage over Philly...

holfresh @ 6/25/2015 8:53 PM
The Fisher hire...
Adding Calderon to the roster with that salary..
Trading JR and Shump for nothing..
This pick...
Wow...
nixluva @ 6/25/2015 8:54 PM
This summer is just getting started. Lets see how this works out.
StarksEwing1 @ 6/25/2015 8:54 PM
It depends on free agency. If we strike out its over
crzymdups @ 6/25/2015 8:54 PM
Phil Jackson has arguably been the worst thing to ever happen to the Knicks.
wargames @ 6/25/2015 8:55 PM
Yeah Fvuk phil jackson.

That's a bold claim, given the last 20 years or so.

holfresh @ 6/25/2015 8:56 PM
The crazy thing is that Phil is grooming Mills...There is no end to this...

Scott Layden and Isiah Thomas would like to protest. They feel like they deserve the crown.

agreed that scares me. Mills is a smart guy im sure but he isnt a basketball guy
DJMUSIC @ 6/25/2015 8:58 PM
Nope

My focus..MLB SF giants and NFL Pittsburgh Steelers

WAKEUPKNICKS2015 @ 6/25/2015 8:59 PM
Love Phil. He does things the right way. He's had his rough patches in his rookie year of GM, but I'm confident he'll get things figured out. He's just great at being fair and still getting what he wants out of situations.
DJMUSIC @ 6/25/2015 8:59 PM
Give up on ksnhitcKs..
Er' knicks

That part is disgusting. Because we know what grooming Mills is about. Isiah Thomas will be running the team and Mills will be the figurehead so the fans won't completely revolt.

nixluva @ 6/25/2015 9:00 PM
What will you guys say if this kid comes out and contributes even in year one? He's got so much upside and i'm sure that's what all of his scouts told him and what he likely saw as well when he worked him out. I can't wait to see him in Summer League. The kid deserves a chance to show what he can do before people slam the pick and call Phil all kinds of names.

Let me guess, you're a 1-year knick fan?

Phil just traded Tyson Chandler for nothing, Iman Shumpert for nothing, JR for nothing, and we were told it was for a top pick which he just threw away for a three year project. We won 17 games, far fewer than Isiah and Layden ever won. And we are also gonna give a max to 35 yr old David West. Any questions?

RonRon @ 6/25/2015 9:02 PM
I was always high on Coach Kerr, always thought he was highly intelligent and knows how to communicate
Not so sure about Fisher, he simply wasn't prepared for the job but I believe he was chosen because it happened after the 2 Billion evaluation that Steve Balmer raised MSG stocks/Franchise

And Durant was the reason we got him to increase odds, I do not know if players can actually take coaching from player they played with, it just hard
Though Briggs comments about Durant's injury scares me with Embid/BIG Z also had as well....

JR Smith surely didn't respect him or the system, though he is immature, though we gave him back free money to give his brother a feel to be a NBA player, didn't appreciate what we did and gave us LIP after we sent him to be in a position to succeed

Instead the ungrateful douche steals the HoverBoard from MJ FOX and loses the games while riding it in style with a cool entrance and goodbye leave off abscence
He is lucky he has a player like Lebron to possibly give him some love/praise and prolong his career
I wish Iman well, I really liked him but his surgery and our poor development staff needs an upgrade while Woodson really messed him up by playing him at SF in a ISO OFFENSE
The trainer that left who Lin credditted his development with left that same year b4 Iman came back

markvmc @ 6/25/2015 9:02 PM
JR for nothing is a great deal for us.
holfresh @ 6/25/2015 9:04 PM
The pick makes sense if you are rebuilding, well not really..But that would be the argument..We don't have a pick next year...We are adding FA to help compete beginning next year..This kid isn't going to be ready for a few years if he even gets to that level...Is there a plan and what is it??

What the F are you talking about? Please link me to where Phil said he was giving David west a max contract? Just cause you're losing an argument doesn't mean you need to pull random crap out your ass
